Family-friendly holiday rentals in Montecito

This was an absolutely beautiful place. The gardens were such a delight to sit and relax in. We used the fire pit, played cornhole, and sat in the hot tub. We walked down to the beach quite a few time and walked out on More Mesa. It was large enough to have all of our family over and we never felt crowded.

We had an amazing time, such a beautiful and spacious home. Thank you for hosting my family and I :)

Great location, easy access to beaches, downtown. Comfy king sized bed. Take advantage of the fresh eggs, they were delicious. The unit is an extension of a family home but has a private entrance and feels separate. Hot tub, garden and sauna are part of a shared space with the host

Catie's place was really clean and had everything you needed to have a good stay. So many interesting items to look at, and I feel like I need another stay to see everything. Lots to do on the outside property and plenty of games on the inside. The kitchen was WELL stocked and the beds comfortable. The common rooms are big with lots of places to sit. Close to great hiking areas and town. Book it you will love it!

I cannot say enough great things about both the home and the information and responsiveness that Todd & Jodi provided during our stay. We were fortunate to find their place available at the last minute and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Home was beautiful and on a great piece of land, peaceful, quiet and convenient. We felt right at home, almost better than right at home, which was the whole purpose of our visit. Beds, bathrooms, kitchen and all the accessories of the home were top notch. All the recommendations and help in finding last minute winery visits and dinner reservations were incredibly helpful as well. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Aldo’s place! The space was exactly as advertised—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Aldo was an incredibly responsive and kind host, taking the time to show us how the TV worked and making sure we had everything we needed. The location is fantastic—so close to Santa Barbara and the cliff walk, yet still peaceful and private. Having a dedicated parking spot was a huge plus as well. Truly a lovely experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Rented both the main house and the Zen studio for a family celebration. A beautiful setting and wonderful space made it feel very special. We had everything we needed and host was extremely responsive and takes very good care of the property.

The unique layout worked for our group (2 bedrooms (one is a walk-through) are separated from the rest of the house). Beautiful backyard and deck. Super quiet and peaceful. You need to descend a full flight of outdoor stairs to get to the main house and deck. Lovely outdoor spaces in a super convenient location.

Perfect place for our stay to celebrate my son’s graduation from ucsb. We were mostly in Isla Vista but hosted a Sunday brunch for him and his friends. Sat outside in the comfortable patio and everyone had a fabulous time! My nephew remarked that Dawn’s place reminded him of my Italian grandmother’s house; everything was carefully chosen to reflect the vintage charm of the cottage with European flavor. Loved everything about our stay here!

very nice place to stay, super cute, easy street parking. Was perfect for a few days with half kitchen and studio feel. 10 mins from the harbor.

We will definitely be returning! Waking up to sweet horses and chickens, surrounded by nature and feeling completely relaxed and at home. Nan was a delightful host who helped us with everything we needed and made our kids feel like they were her own.

Jeanne’s cottage was an excellent place for our little group of 3 and 2 dogs, a quick drive to SY and perfectly located for road biking. There is so much wonderful space to wander on the grounds and perfect lawn for dogs to romp around. The cottage is thoughtfully furnished and the kitchen is well stocked. Jeanne and her husband were so nice and made us feel right at home. Without question one of the most dog friendly Airbnb I’ve ever stayed!

We enjoyed a quiet weekend stay. The 3 bedroom home was comfortable for 5 adults with nice beds and spacious sitting areas. There were plenty of towels and a lovely yard. The home has many windows and lots of natural light, so if you are bothered by sunlight in the morning, bring eyeshades to help with sleeping late. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and the owner was available to answer any of our questions.

Joy’s place was very close to the half marathon where our daughter was running. The studio was very dog friendly and comfortable

Enjoyed our stay very much. The bungalow is well maintained and has great character. The garden is terrific. Safe walkable neighborhood.

The condo was clean comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient to walking trails shops and the beach. Amtrak is a few blocks away for easy trips to Santa Barbara. I would definitely recommend Melinda’s condo in Carpinteria for a great beach vacation.

Small but efficient for us two. Great location in Carpinteria. We usually camp at the state beach but opted not to this year. Had everything we needed. Pool and spa were great. Complex was peaceful and other residents and office staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in gated lot and the spots had plenty of room for our truck and there were bike racks inside the parking lot for locking up our bikes that we took. We only used our vehicle once it was too dark for bike riding, otherwise we biked or walked. Husband fished everyday for several hours while I got to sleep in, relax, watch tv, or walk up the street for shopping. Farmers Market on Thursday was great for buying fresh fruits and veggies and flowers.

We thoroughly enjoyed this sweet town of Carpenteria and Pam and Paul’s place was a wonderful place to enjoy it. The beds were very comfortable and was accurate in the pictures. We didn’t have a car and thoroughly enjoyed walking the town, beach area and salt marsh. Very quaint and picturesque setting. We loved seeing the Amtrak California Surfliner train and platform for people to board. On another visit we hope to explore more of the coast via the train as it snugs the coastline. There are multiple stops during the day and seems a fun way to do day trips elsewhere when having more time. Thanks for a great stay!

Very gorgeous place to stay! Highly recommend! We really enjoyed our stay, Lindsay was amazing host! The place it self is very very beautiful, exceptionally unique. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Santa Barbara with their loved once and have quality time. Loved it!

Joanie was a great host. We were ghosted by our original reservation and customer service was able to get us with Joanie. Joanie was extremely responsive and everything matched with the description on the listing. I'm extremely grateful with Joanie and her home was great. My husband and 2 children were extremely comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Thank you!

We enjoyed our week stay at Frank's place. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect! Easy access to the beach and walkable to many great restaurants. We walked to the nearby Amtrak train station to take a quick 15 minute ride to Santa Barbara. Frank provides beach chairs, umbrella, table, cooler, ect for a relaxing day at the beach. Frank was a great host.

This place was an absolute dream. Myself and 5 other graduate students were a bit of a tight fit, but we knew that going in, and the quality of the space was well worth both the cost and the closeness. We enjoyed being able to spend good time in the common space, share meals together at a lovely table, and (best of all) walk super quickly right on to the beach and into a super cute town! Lisa was very responsive and clear with what we needed to know, too.

Michael's place is a very nice apartment in a residential neighborhood. The place was very cozy and clean. It is conveniently located to Oxnard and Ventura. It is near the beach but not walkable. My daughter and I had a good time while we were away.
