Monthly Rentals in Moalboal

If you are truly looking for luxury this place isn’t for you, but it’s fine for a decent place to sleep and it’s close to town. The beds are soft. The bedrooms do have ac that get the room decently cool. There are no blackout curtains, it’s full light by 6am in the main bedroom. There is a rooster that starts crowing at 3am and doesn’t stop until around 8. He’s very loud. The water pressure is awful, like it’s almost unusable a slight trickle out of sink and the shower makes it feel like you’ll never get enough to wash your hair from shampoo. The linens and towels are clean but stained. I didn’t like that people come in to clean without our knowledge or permission, that isn’t noted in the listing. A lot of things are broken or about to break like the shower holder, the main bedroom bathroom door hinge, the sliding glass door upstairs. Had a great stay at Maribel’s place. Would recommend this to anyone as she is very accommodating and the property itself is very spacious

What a fantastic experience! The territory is a beautiful garden, there are 7 cottages, reception and a social area. Our cottage was very cute, felt new, the shower was amazing - with tropical plants around and stars above your head. Breakfast was served on our terrace at the time we confirmed a day before, and it was delicious. There is an opportunity to socialise with other guests if you want to. You can also have a massage on site. All the people working there are super friendly and helpful. The way to the location is a bit long, we always took a tricycle going in and out of town. You will hear the roosters and see some insects/geckos in the cottage. That being said, we had a fantastic stay, did not want to leave and would absolutely come back! Thank you!

Genevieve was a fantastic host for me for the week and I would highly recommend her accommodation for anyone interested in the moalboal-oslob area. She helps organizes tours that offer much more competitive pricing than the tours on the street (scuba diving place I walked into charged 3500php for discovery while her recommendation was 2000php with a personal instructor) and the location is in walkable distance from restaurants and bars.
