Cottage holiday rentals in Minnesota

beautiful home to stay in, better than the pictures suggested. very cozy and a great place to relax after exploring Minnesota. the hot tub is a wonderful addition, and I highly recommend walking down and watching the sunrise in the morning.

We stayed for an extended Super Bowl/birthday weekend and had a great time. Super responsive to messages when there was a very small issue and checked in multiple times to make sure all was well. We would love to go back in summer. Very efficient space for a large group and the new hot tub was a hit with everyone in our party. Thank you!

We had 7 girls stay here for a bachelorette weekend getaway and we LOVED it! The house is so full of historic charm while still offering a fully modernized kitchen, bathrooms and entertainment systems. We loved being far enough away from the busy downtown Stillwater scene to enjoy a little sanctuary time, but also being close enough to either drive or walk (about 20 minutes walking) to get downtown to all the fun shops and restaurants of DT Stillwater.

Property was spacious, well maintained, and clean. Host provided clear instructions and was always friendly, proactive and responsive. This definitely contributed to an overall positive vacation experience!

Extremely clean. We had everything we needed and more. Many organic details which we appreciated. Garden and chickens were amazing. Made a fresh garden salad one night. Would stay again for certain. One of the best airbnb I have stayed in.

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

Nathan’s place was great! It’s walkable to downtown Stillwater, and the home itself is funky and fun. Nathan was a kind and responsive host, and he accommodated our needs well. Definitely worth the stay. Thank you!

What a charming, cozy and spotless cottage in a very private setting! The description was on point! Very quiet, wonderful neighbors and accessible to parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Communication with the host was excellent with any concerns! She was lovely to chat with. I really enjoyed my 4 nights at Knife River. Paula was very responsive and the home was well equipped and had everything we needed. I enjoyed the near by river trail, smoked fish shop, and candy store. Two harbors is only a 15 minute drive as well. My dog is fearful of other dogs, and this was a great place for her to take a break from city living and enjoy nature without too many other dogs around. I would love to visit again in the winter since it seems there may be some local events going on during that time!

This was a very cozy home with a cottage feel, loved the fenced in yard since we brought our dog with. Will definitely recommend!

My dog and I were on a road trip back to the east coast, and I selected Lisa's place due to it's location and for being dog friendly - we stayed one night. I really liked Lisa's place. It was clean, cozy, and had everything a traveler would need. The house was nestled in a really nice, established neighborhood just outside of the city center, which I thoroughly enjoyed seeing on foot with my dog. There was a great veteran-owned coffee shop (Rick's) just a short two-block walk from the house, which itself was dog friendly (dogs allowed in to order, with a dog friendly patio outside). Lisa had set a dog bed out in the living room for us, which I thought was super thoughtful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and experience, and would recommend Lisa's place to anyone traveling to or through Minneapolis.

Thank you Jill and Gary for trusting us in your home. Everything was as advertised. No surprises. Their home was clean and comfortable. A nice value and pet friendly was important to us because we were in the area for a dog sports event. The beach theme was fun and we walked to the beach from their home on a beautiful day. We will recommend Jill and Gary's home to friends!

The place was just what it said it was. It was clean, she had fun snacks and drinks for us. Every thing you need is right there and more. She communicated well with me. It was so easy to check in and out. Love it and highly recommend for girls get away.

We LOVED our stay at this amazing historic and charming home. Everything about was wonderful -cannot say enough good things! And the host Kathryn was a wonderful communicator who was proactive at reaching out and making sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. It made for a perfect stay in Grand Marais.

We always appreciate the peaceful surroundings and view of the lake. Guests are quiet. Perfect for families where kids can play, swim and fish off the docks.

Holly's place was just what we needed. The inside was really clean and well decorated. Outside the lake was quiet and it was fun to have a few water toys like the lily pad and kayaks. We got a lot of use out of the sauna. Holly was always responded quickly when we had questions. Great place for a get away. We will have to come back!

I was staying here with three other friends for a birding trip. We really enjoyed the place, were very comfortable, and had close proximity to Sax-Zim Bog for our birding trip. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are birding the bog!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cabin right on the lake. The location was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. We especially loved waking up to the beautiful view of the water each morning and watching all the birds on the water. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet lakeside getaway!

Our stay at the Cozy Cottage was AMAZING! Katie met us at the house, gave us some background about the place and walked us through the whole property. Katie was so responsive and was able to accommodate an early check-in which was SO helpful. We will definitely be back!!

This place is phenomenal! So cute, so private, has everything you need, beautiful lake views, I could go on and on! Deanne is so thoughtful and really went above and beyond to give us a great honeymoon - she had a congratulatory card and chocolates for us at the house. We loved the backyard and lake and all of the wildlife in the area! 10/10 would recommend staying here!!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakeside Airbnb in Minnesota! It was perfect for our family, which included teenagers and a baby. The home was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed—including a full kitchen that made cooking easy, even with a baby in tow. The outdoor amenities were amazing! We grilled dinner, made s’mores around the fire pit, and spent hours on the water with the kayaks and pedal boat. The private dock was a favorite hangout spot for the teens, who loved fishing and swimming right off the edge. It was peaceful, spacious, and family-friendly—everything we hoped for in a lake getaway. We made so many special memories here and would absolutely come back again. Cindy, our host was very communicative and timely in her communication- Highly recommend!
