A beautiful place to stay, well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, really cosy enjoyed the fire pit. Aura was quick to reply and gave some great advice on places to visit and left some nice welcome gifts.

The Oriole feels like you’re sitting in a treehouse on the porch. Lovely! The interior is quaint and clean. Thoughtfully appointed space with a place to hang a few items of clothing and a suitcase rack, but otherwise don’t bring unnecessary luggage because, as described, the space is small. The location is walkable to all restaurants and shops. We enjoyed exploring a bit on the bikes which are great amenities along with the hot tub included in the stay. Would definitely recommend!

Craig and Marina always go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. His property is so private and peaceful. Beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. This was our second year we stayed at one of two of his Units and it won't be our last. Look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay in my favorite up north town. Chelsea’s place was adorable and it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to be. Loved the yard, the water, the decor…everything was perfect.

Our cabin was absolutely beautiful. Such a stunning view!! The parking space is a bit compact but such a small price to pay given the awesome stay. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy. Fire pit was awesome. Such a good view of the lake!! There is not much to do as a tourist around the cabin. Just the few local shops and the beach/marinas. We had to drive 1 hour plus to do our activities. There is no fast food nearby; There are a few local bar/grills but i'd recommend cooking in the cabin. Note that the stairs that are available for users to get down to the actual beach are 3-4 flights of EXTREMELY steep stairs followed by a vertical ladder. There are public park access sights near the cabin that are more accessible.

Awesome place! And felt like we were walking into a Family Cottage. The photos and decor were inviting, utensils, pots, and pans and linen are all clean and provided. They left instructions and literature detailing local attractions. Thanks again for letting us use your happy family cabin.

The stay was absolutely gorgeous! At the back of a long and winding lane. Plenty of wildlife to watch by the campfire. would highly recommend and if we stay in the area again we'd consider staying at this place again!

As advertised. Cozy warm cottage. Perfect location just outside porcupine mountains. Sound of Lake Superior was a great to wake up with a cup of coffee. Would stay again.

We recently stayed in Sarah’s beautiful cottage by the lake in Hale,MI over Memorial Day weekend.Its a very easy drive from Ann Arbor.This destination worthy cottage is beyond beautiful with Rustic and modern farm house feels! Everything at the cottage is thoughtfully and meticulously planned and you can see the labor of love of the owners at the property. The place is warm and inviting like and we had a wonderful time in this little slice of heaven with gorgeous views. Hot Tub was a bonus since the Temp was still in 50’s.Sarah was very kind and responsive through out our stay. You couldn’t ask for better Hosts!

This was our first time in a tiny house and it was so cozy! It had everything we needed! I loved the beautiful trees around us! It’s close to Traverse City. It has an outdoor fire pit (with wood provided) so we made a fire the second night we were there! The description of the place is very accurate! We enjoyed our stay so much!

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay! This place was everything described and more! The hosts were super responsive and every detail of this place was perfect! We were able to use the bikes that they provided to ride over to the local beach! The place itself was super clean and decorated beautifully! It’s also super close to the dunes as well as New Buffalo which was a short drive away and has cute shops and restaurants to visit!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Detach! The hike in was not too bad and all our stuff fit into the cart to haul. We did bring linen and pillows based on other reviews. It was a relaxing stay despite some bugs/spiders inside which is to be expected 😆

This house was perfect for our overnight trip. The house had such charm and comfort. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location for a quick getaway celebration! The whole property was beautiful even if weather wasn’t best the night we were there. Would for sure stay again!

The camper cabin was perfect!! Jack and Luke are GREAT hosts! They thought of everything! They even left us some fudge which was a sweet surprise! Make sure you look at the sky at night it’s beautiful. The cabin is comfy and the ports potty was clean. If I could have extended my stay I would. I might be back someday! I’d recommend to anyone who likes the outdoors but enjoying sleeping inside.

We loved staying at Rowshell! It was exactly the sort of peaceful escape we hoped. We were especially appreciative of the thoughtful layout of the houseboat, the ability to use the kayaks and smoker/fire pit, and the accessibility of nearby wineries. It’s not a quick drive to get to restaurants or other destinations (with the exception of the handful right around Rowshell) but the countryside was beautiful and the secluded nature of this stay added to the overall ambiance. I do agree with previous posters that guests with back problems might want to pack a mattress pad; me and my husband did not have any problems, but it is a firm surface. Otherwise, you truly need to pack very little for your trip. There’s even a little container of pancake mix! John and Lec were exceptionally kind and hospitable. I’ll be dreaming about falling asleep to the gentle rocking of Rowshell every night until we make it back!

This is a fun little semi-off grid place to do a little “glamping”. It was fun to cook out over a campfire and listen to the sounds coming from the lake. The chickens behind the space were beautiful and surprisingly quiet. The space has an air conditioner that saves the day when it gets a littler hotter than normal. Cute place overall and exactly as advertised. The hosts were responsive and friendly. Good place to disconnect and just enjoy a little nature.

I absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be coming back with friends and family! The entire property is so peaceful, and the animals add such a heartwarming touch. It really makes the place feel special. The space is super fun, relaxing, and comforting. It had everything we needed to feel right at home while still being the perfect little getaway. Our dog loved it too! The fenced-in yard made it so easy to play and hang out with her, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches. There were treats, towels, toys, and even dog bowls provided. Whether you’re traveling with people or pets, this spot truly has it all. Highly recommend!

Joel was a great host! Was very responsive and provided great insight to local eats and where we should enjoy some great food during our stay!

Mary Jane's place is great. The tiny house was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was a s advertised and she was very responsive if we needed anything. Lots of extra little things included that made our stay even better. Just a reminder that you are on their property with a house behind and another next door, they did have a dog out but she let us know ahead of time and we didn't have any issues with it. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed just one night on our way back home from the UP. Cabin was peaceful and private and a good place to relax after hours of driving. Recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay that’s tucked back into the woods. Also we were fortunate to see a couple of bull elks while out back roading!!!
