Anita is a great host, always responded super quickly which is great! Apartment is exactly as described, very clean and Anita had left snack's and water. I had seen written that it can be difficult to locate but I didn't have any issues. The lockbox is located at the gate in front of the entrance when you into the backstreet. (Via Antonio Genovesi). Location wise, you'll find a grocery store, pharmacy, laundromat and everything right there for the things you might need to have close by. A little downside with the location if you're planning to explore the city a lot is that the busses can be difficult to count on. Which is unfortunate for this Apartment because there are bus stops very close to it. If you are lucky to catch the bus without having to have to wait for 30+ minutes then the location isn't an issue, busses take you right to the center farily quickly. So it might end up that you'll be walking quite a bit so just have that in mind if that can be a struggle.

The three-week stay in Naples at Marcello's place was a positive experience from many points of view. Marcello welcomed me personally with a smile on Sunday afternoon, immediately giving me clear directions on the surroundings for a pleasant and comfortable stay: hours and location of nearby supermarkets, location and characteristics of public transport available in the area for example. The neighborhood is far from the city center of Naples, but is reliably served by public transport (I mainly used the subway line 1 and the R5 bus). The building where the apartment is located has an internal courtyard/park that offers priceless tranquility (an oasis) and the room overlooks the park. The apartment and the room are very large, bright and well ventilated: coexistence is peaceful and respectful in every environment. Thanks Marcello!

Vincenzo even before we arrived was responsive and helpful. He is a proud Neapolitan who helps make the stay the best possible sharing his knowledge of Italy and Naple’s surroundings. Excellent communication. Note: If using the parking, it is Neapolitan and different from parking in the US.
