“LUNA” YURT @magical forest

EdgarRating, 5 stars44 months ago
This place is AMAZING. I rented a yurt for a couple of nights and I had a unique glamping experience. I went with my dog and we both have a great time. The yurts have everything you need to feel comfortable while surrounded by the forest. Although the place might seem a bit pricey for a glamping experience you should consider that you also have access to all the ranch´s amenities: a fantastic yoga room, a super comfortable library, and a pool. Moreover, you can request breakfast and other meals there, which I highly recommend. I also recommend visiting the Buddhist stupa at the top of the mountain. It's a 45-50 minute hike and it's totally worth it. For access to the property, you should consider an SUV; the offroad part of the route is actually better than some other offroad paths I´ve been in Mexico but it's quite long. Also, there are two entrances, both accessible from the cobbled street but Google only shows one of them. In any case, there are signs along the road you can follow.

“SUNNY” YURT @magical forest

Ana's place was perfect for our weekend getaway with kids. The yurt is in an amazing setting in the middle of the woods and it was a bonus to be able to use the communal areas in the main house and garden - the trampoline and swimming pool were big hits in particular. Breakfast was delicious and Ana and her staff were always very attentive. I can't recommend staying here enough!

Huaya Camp Twin Double Mayan Yurt

Undoubtedly, this was an experience. When I arrived, they were really friendly and helpful, however the host doesn't appear to respond to the AirBnB messages. The outdoor shower was perfect, and the yurt was really clean. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful. The AC performed admirably. This is clamping, and probably not for everyone. It is charming, and you definitely feel a connection to nature. Everything was amazing to me!

It's an amazing place to stay, it exceeded my expectations, they were very helpful and everything was very good. To go to the beach and the archaeological area, it is best to rent a car, motorcycle or bike because it is far from the center of the village. Everything was magnificent

Baja Yurt

This place is simply amazing. Angela was so responsive and helpful with my questions before arriving, and Teri gave me such a warm welcome once I arrived in Loreto. A cute little room-I’m already trying to see when I can go back with a friend. Super clean, and very homey – I got a wonderful night of sleep in a very comfortable bed. Many nice touches, with a wonderful patio right in front to sit in (especially in the night). For me the best part of the trip was being able to take about 100 steps and sit right there on the rocks, as you look out and see so much beautiful water under the gaze of the moon, which is very low in the beginning of the night. Take a vacation, go to Loreto, and stay here. Trust me, you’ll be happy!

Casita Luna: Sun, sand, hot springs hot tub, yep!

TravisRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our couple days at the casita. In the middle of a whirlwind trip around Baja, the Casita Luna was a welcome respite. As we were there in winter, all the beaches were a little bit chilly - windy in this part of the peninsula - but that made it nice to watch the kite surfers in Los Barilles, and hike around the area; just not as much margarita sipping in the sand, haha! Shawna's directions were great (Google maps also works surprisingly well on all the little dirt roads of Southern Baja), the amenities were just right - as described, private, well-appointed, comfortable - all as expected and we're thankful for the host, the lodging, and the location.
