Welcome to Kalena's Kabana, located on a small barrier island along the central Florida east coast. Our villa is nestled in the premier neighborhood of Melbourne Beach. Enjoy pristine uncrowded beaches, parks, bars, restaurants, and a laid back community vibe. Melbourne/Orlando Airport and Port Canaveral Cruises are minutes away from this prime location. During your stay you may simply enjoy the pleasure of relaxing here and taking short excursions around town and the beach in the golf cart, with Sunsets at Melbourne Beach Pier on the river a favorite days end. The Cart is a unique amenity to our Kabana that guests are thrilled to use. Inside the Kabana we have gone to great length to provide top-shelf amenities while anticipating your every need. Outside you have a spacious courtyard, a unique sand "beach" with fire pit, and a covered summer kitchen pavilion fully equipped to BBQ. Your outside space extends back from the courtyard along a private path to your own private wooden deck overlooking our oversized pool. Swim. Sun. Enjoy a cool drink in a lush tropical environment. Suggested activities include day trips to Orlando theme parks (one hour away), Sebastian Inlet State Park, the Kennedy Space Center (this area is named the "The Space Coast"), and so much more. Check out our guest guidebook for suggestions. Have a dog or service dog? No worries! They are invited too. Be able to verify your dog has up to date shots along with good flea treatment prior to visiting, and that they are well behaved so they can enjoy a vacation as well. We allow one or two dogs that have a combined weight less than 60 Lbs. We request your pet does not go in the master bedroom as it has thick pile blue carpet, and if you take them to the beach or on a outing that you bathe them and dry them prior to re-entering the kabana. It seems the rental fees are all getting inflated and becoming more difficult to justify, but we were oceanfront and it was a lovely home. There is a short walk through dunes to get to the beach which is a no brainer for younger people, but a bit more challenging for senior citizens. We would come again, it was very pleasant from the gazebo, the patio , the house or the beach. Thank you!

Staying at Päivi's place was a wonderful experience! The house is well-maintained, and the private space is excellent, featuring a large TV, a spacious bed, and a private bathroom. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it's common to see people walking their dogs or strolling along the sidewalks. It was also a great place for me to go for a run. Päivi and Ulf are lovely hosts who respect your privacy while also being warm and welcoming if you enjoy interacting with others. I truly felt at home during my stay. I would definitely stay at their place again!

We loved staying at the Cali Villas. It was such a cute little space and the perfect get away for my 2 friends and I. The backyard with the pool, fireplace, etc. was amazing!! Only about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach which isn’t bad at all. The place had everything we needed and more. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on our vacation, will definitely be coming back!

Ocean Chilling Vacation Getaway

First off the location was AWESOME! The walk to the beach path was a short stroll through the neighborhood and pass the pool, you did have to cross the street so hold onto those little ones hands! The overall Villa was well kept and clean, sure it could use some updating but it didn't take away from our trip at all. The beds were comfortable and bever ran out of hot water, sheets and towels smelled and were clean, all appliances worked zero to compain about. Some guests say the furniture was old and worn out but we didn't see it, it set well. The only thing we though was the tv was HUGE so close to the sitting area, but we didn't spend to much time in front of the t.v. so cant really expand on that. There was beach chairs and umbrellas available which was a huge bonus (since we forgot ours) There was mention of Fishing rods avaliable, it wasnt a big deal we still took the kiddos fishing with a local charter. Overall great stay, John was a great host, would stay again in a heartbeat.
