3 bedroom 2 bath, 1500 sq foot cottage close to Tradinghouse Lake. The cottage was built in the late 1940's and was totally renovated in 2017. It is isolated with only one neighbor across the street and is very peaceful. It has a small pond that has a fountain, and is stocked with Bass, Crappie, Bluegill and catfish. Fishing poles and baits are provided. Small gatherings/parties are permitted. I have had several small weddings in the past.

Christy is unbelievably hospitable. Offered to drive us into Waco, offered her home’s consumables and kitchen - she makes you feel very at home. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom is pristine. You have your own “wing” to the house that is accessible only by walking through the living room. Christy sleeps in the primary bedroom and you have access to the home’s secondary bedrooms and bathroom on the other end of the house. She gives you a front door key to the house upon arrival so you can come and go. If you’re looking for privacy, look elsewhere but if you’re looking for a place that has everything you need with the most accommodating host of all time, this cottage is great.

Great host + comfy bed = I’m coming back! Shamra’s house is in a nice, normal suburban neighborhood. Lots of people walking their dogs and playing with their kids, but it’s quiet. I have never stayed in an AirB&B with the host there too. I’m afraid Shamra has spoiled me on what to expect from now on. She is low-key and calm, but incredibly nice and responsive. She kindly upgraded me to the bigger room. The bed was so comfortable that I fell asleep faster than I usually do! Everything was very clean and uncluttered. If I need to stay in Waco again, I’ll do whatever I can to stay here again!
