Monthly Rentals in Matale

We had a lovely stay here, my favourite place in Sri Lanka! Everything was clean, smelt amazing and the pillows were so soft I wanted to take them home. The family was extremely helpful and present; My boyfriend was very ill (Crohn’s flare) and even with the language barrier, they made me feel calm and offered solutions. It is a serene area, with small shops nearby (5-10mins walk) to pick up water and snacks. You can also walk to the entrance of Lion’s Rock. Great location away from hustle and bustle. They also organised a safari for us which was amazing. And now for the food - every bite was perfection. You have to eat here. We had amazing Sri Lankan food on the first night and Indian Butter Chicken Masala on the second, which was delicious. Breakfast and desserts were stunning and fresh. We were so sad to leave, and hope to visit again soon!

Ashita is a very friendly host which will find time for you and bring you to do all the different activities of the place. He is available at any time and it is enough to send him a text if you need his help. Great experience!

Cool place, with great food!

What a wonderful place to stay! The room was absolutely lovely, clean, and we were served a delicious breakfast every morning. Uncle, was incredibly kind and welcoming. We are two women traveling together and felt completely safe and comfortable here throughout our stay. We also received amazing help with organizing our plans — nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for this amazing stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
