Lovely, clean home on quiet street. Woke to birds singing in trees every morning. Excellent location close to campus and minutes from grocery store and other amenities. Backyard tables, chairs, and screened in porch all excellent ways to enjoy some fresh air. And fire pit with comfy chairs were nice touch to end the evenings. Sharon was very responsive to questions during our stay. Will definitely check to see if this home is available next time my family comes to campus again!

The place was just like the host described. The price was also excellent for the location and size of house. My only complaints would be the house could have been a just a tad bit cleaner. There was also a basement at the house, that had a door leaning against the wall on the steps down to the basement. If the door could be reinstalled onto the hinges it wouldn’t be as creepy haha. But besides those two things the location is nice. And the price I paid was excellent.

Very nice home....perfect for 2 couples! We walked two of the Indiana State Parks which were close by as well as really good places to eat. We wish we would have stayed longer to check out some of the shopping in town! The best part was sitting on the back porch at the end of a day of hiking and just enjoying the peace and quiet and cute squirrels in the trees! Just perfect!!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and in a great location. This was the most well-stocked airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at - from drinks and snacks to towels and blankets. It was the perfect place for our wedding group to stay at for the weekend.

This was our second visit, and we loved it just as much the second time. Jean was very proactive and communicated well to ensure we fully enjoyed our stay. The house and surrounding area are great for those looking to get away from the business of life and enjoy the outdoors. Very convenient location for Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. We loved our time there!

This home was warm and welcoming! The setup is perfect and equipped with everything you need. Everything was squeaky clean. The beds were comfortable. The front porch was nice to hang out - whether inside the covered part or the open air area. The backyard is fenced and private - great for those traveling with dogs. Great driveway for off street parking. Close to food, shopping, parks and the university.

Such a beautiful home and easily accessible

Great stay overall! We had 16-18 people and the property slept us all comfortably with plenty of space to eat and relax. Much cleaner than other places we have stayed as a group. Quiet neighborhood and great hot tub! We would love to come back.

Although it was only for one night, it's actually better than staying in a hotel; it's cleaner and has more privacy. I recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at Meggan’s place! She made check-in and check-out a breeze and was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Her communication made everything easy and stress-free. The house and property were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. There was plenty of room for everyone to get ready for our out-of-state wedding, which made a big difference during such a busy time. This home was perfect for us and our extended family to celebrate our son’s college graduation. It was clean, well appointed, and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone at the dining room table (including enough chairs) when all 10 of us were there, which was really nice. Comfortable beds and enough privacy for everyone. We especially liked the rec room for playing pool and the backyard games provided. This house made our last stay in Terre Haute very special — thank you Veera!

Very quiet and peaceful stay. Just what we needed and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day.

Absolutely wonderful for families - lots of room for everyone! My kids loved the pool! Lots of thoughtful extras - the snacks in the kitchen were so nice after a long travel day. You can tell they want you to feel at home.

We loved our stay here. The house has so many rooms, we could have fit more. The different locations of the rooms was great for multiple families. The backyard was the biggest hit (the second was the hot tub) - with multiple playgrounds and lots of room, our kids spent most of the time out there. The dining area had plenty of room and chairs. The host was so friendly whenever we saw him. We would definitely have a reunion here again!

We loved Kickapoo Creekside Escape and would definitely stay there again. Lots to do if you are a nature lover and not too far from town if you needed something.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Place was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The deck and dock area was wonderful. So enjoyed watching the family of geese every morning. Place is just beautiful!

The house was set up well, with helpful extras like a luggage rack and drying rack for laundry. Appreciated how quickly the host responded, and the instructions at the house helped us settle in quickly. Good value for the price!

Wow, what a well-laid out, neat cabin! Thought of everything. Beautiful, wooded, private setting… this is a jewel in eastern Illinois!

This was the most magical place the day before my wedding!! My friends and I had such a great stay, we loved all of the wildlife and how secluded it was!! I can’t wait for the next time get come back!!

We cannot say enough kind things about Melissa and her place! She was gracious enough to let us check in multiple hours early! She and her daughters brought up the horses & baby ducks for our toddlers to interact with, also the cats were a huge hit! Melissa (& family) were very friendly when we wanted to interact but kept to themselves otherwise which we appreciated. The barn is open concept with plenty of room to run around since the weather wasn’t ideal. The mattresses were SUPER comfortable, slept like a dream! Even our 3 year old slept all night which never happens Lol. The king size bed frame is kinda noisy but didn’t bother us personally. The bathroom was spotless other than a scrunchie left in the shower (assuming from past guest), we just left that be. Loved the shower head combo they have, kind of jealous Lol! The choices in board/card games were a nice surprise for us. We absolutely loved our stay and are already trying to figure out when to stay again!
