Monthly Rentals in Marigny, New Orleans

Our stay at Thomas’s place was great! The apartment was exactly as pictured. Its location was ideal for us to be able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go-from the French Quarter to amazing restaurants. The apartment itself is big and bright. The balcony was great for our morning coffee everyday and for watching the afternoon rain that came through lol! Everything was just perfect for our stay!

great location. quick 10 min to Frenchman St. 20 Min to Bourbon St. Neighborhood is nice, on the edge of somehwat blighted block, but we felt safe the entire time. Walked to breakfast (1 block) and a good coffee shop (Orange Couch, 4 blocks) each day overall solid place if you want a home base close to the action, but far enough away to not be up all night. Ubers were super easy to get and pretty cheap getting around. Overall a very positive experience

My partner and I stayed for a month here and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thom is an excellent host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. The place is beautiful and is right by the Quarter. There’s so much to do just in walking distance. Thom provided us with a packet filled with a ton of helpful information and recommendations. This is the best place to stay, if you are visiting New Orleans! Anytime we come back, we will be booking with Thom first.

My wife and I stayed at Emily's for the second week of JazzFest, an event we've attended at least 9 times in the past. All those other stays were at hotels...some big, some small, some less expensive, some very expensive...so we thought we'd try something different. We thought it might be fun to stay away from the well known neighborhoods (Central Business, Garden, Warehouse Districts, and, of course the Quarter) and knew a little bit about the post-Katrina Marigny neighborhood. It's very different than those other tourist-centric areas...very quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and, well, neighborly. No street traffic or sirens thru the night, no carousing halfwits in the elevators, and not a single reflexologist to be found. There is a well used freight train line about a half-mile away, which didn't bother us in the least. Emily's place was like staying at a well-kept friend's house...very comfortable with interesting personal effects...a very nice place to land at the end of a long day.
