Howard's place in Eureka was very clean and comfortable. The location was good - walkable to old town and the waterfront. Howard also was very helpful with recommendations on local events and places to visit. There was a nice big tv to enjoy in the evening, the kitchen was equipped and there was a nice little deck area outside. Bed was comfortable and everything sparkling clean. I would stay here again!

Place was perfect for exactly what we needed and just minutes to the beach. Owner was sweet and very responsive, also offered to send a message once the house was cleaned/ready for an early check-in if we'd like (I didnt even have to ask). I'd choose this place again when in the area. Thank you!!

Excellent central location between Eureka and Arcata, perfect for any excursion north or south of the area. The house offers a unique setting amongst the dunes with an adventurous walk out to the beach. The home is a fantastic value and suited our needs very well.

This house was wonderful. It is bright and cheery but cozy. We loved the comfy couches. The house was a perfect size for us. I loved how it is decorated. The location was perfect. It is a 2 minute drive to a trail head for the beach. We could have walked it but we tend to lose track of time and get caught out after dark. It was a very short drive to activities in Eureka and not too far from other hikes and beaches in the area. The area is very quiet and we did not hear traffic noise. The backyard is cute with a seating area and cornhole. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
