I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. Everything I needed was included — from kitchen essentials to extra linens — making it incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. The parking was also amazing — easy, accessible, and stress-free. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped space. Would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing cottage! It has such a calm peaceful feel to it,probably helped by the surrounding hills,pretty much on the doorstep,and the abundance of very warm & friendly locals! I'm also pretty certain the bed is magic as I haven't slept that well for ages! John was so helpful with all necessary details. He has left very useful instructions for local walks etc in the cottage,along with lots of historic information about the area,all extremely interesting. We absolutely loved staying here,and hope to return. A very special place.

Fantastic host! Very attentive and had thought of everything. We arrived at Afan Lodge in the dark, when we woke up and looked out the window the next day we were greeted by the most wonderful view. I traveled with my two young (5&10yrs) children and while we were at the Lodge they were kept busy with all of the bits that Krisztina had supplied and use of the garden. Afan Lodge is a great base to get to attractions and surrounding areas, with a 20 minute drive to the beach. The valley would also be a fantastic place to go biking! We would definitely visit again
