The place is amazing, the most peaceful place you can hope for. The village the place is in is an easy train or bus ride from Utrecht and Amsterdam. Hands down the best air bnb I’ve stayed in! We had a great time! The accommodation is very well located, in a quiet, clean and pleasant area. The kitchen is well equipped, which is perfect for a family stay. The plus: the location is ideal between Utrecht and Amsterdam, with a train station nearby (Breukelen) where we were able to park our car for free. This allowed us to quietly visit Utrecht and Amsterdam by train, without any traffic or parking stresses, and no worries related to the Crit'Air sticker. Thanks again to our host for hosting us and for being available. We highly recommend this listing!

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Great apartment, very neat and clean, comfy beds and spacious bath, cute terrace, nice kitchen and living area. We stayed here mostly to see Utrecht, so if that’s your plan, know that a Bolt or Uber ride to Utrecht Centraal is 25-30 Euros, and on Saturday afternoon it was over 50. There is a bus (B12) that goes to a stop on the train to Utrecht, which would be much cheaper if you’re timing is right. Check out the Ethiopian restaurant across the corner!
