What an extraordinary place- it fully exceeded our expectations. Fresh flowers and beautiful gardens really made us feel like we were in the lap of luxury. Such a beautiful and comfortable home! We will be back!

The stay at Cascina Lavanda was truly a breath of fresh air! A perfect place to unplug from the daily chaos. My dog and I immediately felt at home: the apartment is spacious, super cozy, and that veranda overlooking the greenery... a wonder! Afternoon and nights spent in total relaxation, surrounded by nature and peace. A huge thank you to Luigi, who was very kind from the first moment: always available, attentive and full of useful tips on what to do in the surroundings. A true host! In addition, the location is very convenient to explore the towns around Lake Maggiore, all at your fingertips. In short, a beautiful experience in a corner of paradise. Thank you very much, Luigi!

Fabulous apartment with fabulous view.

We had a lovely stay at the Italian Charm! The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It might be difficult to get to the appartment at first, but with the very clear instructions provided, we found it quite easily actually. Dirk is a very involved and responsive host, who thinks along when there's a problem. The surroundings are beautiful with a nice view of the lake from the living room. We found Ghiffa itself a small but nice town. It was quite peaceful, except for the main road running through, which could be a bit noisy. We went to Intra/Verbania (a 10 minute drive) a number of times for groceries, going out for dinner and the ferry among other things.

Fantastic! Even more beautiful than in the pictures! Incredible view of the lake, a very nice private garden, a clean beautiful apartment with everything you need! Paola is very hospitable and tries to do everything. We were particularly pleased with the breakfast and the delicious cakes. We had a very nice, albeit short, time here. A clear recommendation! Terrazza sur lago surpassed expectations! We chose to come in from Lugano by Uber (a new service just offered in 2025), from there you do have some stairs to negotiate to the beautiful apartment. However, another option is to take a scenic ferry ride from Lugano to Gandria if you have time and want fewer stairs. Once you arrive, you will find the sparkling clean apartment better than the photos. The kitchen is spacious and very well fit out. A nice dining table provides great views of Lago Lugano. Two spacious bedrooms, both offer great lake views, one with a walk-out to a large patio area, with table, chairs, umbrella and comfy furniture for kicking back. We ate every breakfast out there taking in the lake. A quick 10 minute Uber ride puts you in Lugano - tons of restaurants, shopping and nite life. It’s also a 10 minute drive to the funicular for Mounte Bré (great views and hikes). In town - try the Olive Trail hike in Gandria or take a ferry tour of the lake. Bellissimo!

We absolutely loved our stay at Andrea’s place! It exceeded our expectations. Andrea was very responsive, helping us to navigate the area and European appliances :-)! We would love to stay again as our family had an amazing time!

I had a wonderful week at Katrin's place. The little studio was perfect for me. Very good bed, kitchenette with everything I needed - only a lemon press was missing to my luck - Katrin got it the very next day. The other studio next door was not occupied - I can also be very nice to share the terrace (but if necessary, there would also be a separation). There are three larger apartments above the two studios, which can be found on the net under CasaEva. The lake view is a dream. There are two beautiful dining areas in the garden. Katrin is very nice and helpful. She and Jennet helped me with the luggage arrivals and departures. Thank you! I'd love to come back!

this house is very charming and the view is exceptional

This apartment keeps everything that was promised. Very clean and bright, spacious apartment. Very centrally located,you can reach everything in a short time,whether shopping, restaurants, bars or the Lago. The apartment is quietly located and has everything you need. We had two medium size dogs with us, which was also no problem at all. We are completely thrilled and thank Roberto again for this great place. We'll book tomorrow for next year.

Complete and very good accommodation, the host welcomed us and even gave us tips on our places to visit! Accommodation very close to the train station (10 min walk) that serves the Milan train stations!

The furnishings leave nothing to be desired: modern, high-quality and absolutely clean. Great location, the appartement is nice but it is the location that really makes it an incredible stay. Not just lake Como in general but also having 2 restaurants downstairs.

A very beautiful place — everything was perfect.

Marissa & Antonello were wonderful hosts for us staying in Milan for 5 days. Proactive communication from booking and gave us detailed instructions to get to their apartment from the train station. They then showed us around the apartment and complex so we could get around easily. They were always on hand to give us further information about the city & the apartment and left us enough amenities to last us for the duration of our stay. The apartment itself was very clean and modern with a peaceful environment from other residents. Would 100% stay here again if I come back to Milan.

Davide was the best host, all his recommendations were great and he was extremely responsive. The apartment was perfect for a two people stay (couple). There’s a lot of storage space. The apartment is modern and the finishes are high quality. Highly recommend this place!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Had a great time at this apartment! The place is perfectly in line with the description: clean, well decorated and very well equipped. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the bathroom is impeccable.

We stayed at the property for four days and enjoyed the time very much. The accommodation is lovingly decorated and there is everything you need. It's also worth walking to the village and strolling through the small alleys. Down on the main road there is a small delicatessen, which appealed to us very much. Within 10 minutes you are in Stresa and in 20 minutes in Arona, where you can shop well. We will be happy to come back!
