my family and I had a great week at the Coach house, and the house was spacious and very well equipped and clean. the main attractions are outdoors! the lake at the bottom of the driveway! the beach, the private hot tub was amazing and so spacious. the games room was fab! everyone loved it, from the adults to the kids, hours of entertainment 😀 highly recommend 👌

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! We had such a relaxing and peaceful time here — the perfect getaway! The place was spotless, beautifully cosy, and felt like a true home away from home. And the bed... wow. Genuinely one of the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had — it was like sleeping on a cloud! The complimentary kayaks were such a lovely surprise. I’d never tried kayaking before, and it was such a fun and memorable experience. We spent most of our day out on the water, then came back to unwind in the hot tub — absolute bliss. I was also really impressed by how well-stocked the apartment was. So many thoughtful touches and essentials provided, which made everything so easy and stress-free. We’ll definitely be coming back. Felt so relaxed the minute we walked through the door. Everything was immaculate! It was the perfect staycation to unwind and we’ve come away feeling super refreshed. Great host. Quiet setting but nearest town Balliborough poor for evening restaurants. From description we thought kayak n paddle boards came with chalet - had to book but little available . Hot tub great . All in all we would highly recommended it .

James was our host on arrival and very helpful and friendly. Communication was excellent and assistance was very speedy. A beautiful, private and well equipped house with fantastic outdoor space enjoyed by our Labrador. We were blessed with beautiful weather also. The people in nearby Belleck town were also incredibly friendly.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, with nature right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host Mairead was fantastic— She made sure we had everything we needed and had the turf fire lit on our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Donegal!

We had a very enjoyable stay in the very unusual Round House! As others have noted this is not your typical dwelling and for an Airbnb stay it makes for a great stay. The house is exactly as pictured in the ad. Old, seventies style, quirky, homely, comfortable and with all the essentials you'll need for a fun get away. And of course the views are stunning. We brought our own folding camp chairs and there's plenty of room to sit on the circular concrete walkway around the house itself to take in the view on a sunny day. On the wet days we enjoyed the same view from comfy armchairs inside. The nearby beach is lovely for walks but we just took the car there as it is very steep for walking. There's so much to see in the surrounding areas too. We have shown our stay photos to friends who are also now keen to stay at the Round House. We really enjoyed it. Thank you.

We had such a nice time staying at the cottage. It was so peaceful, right in nature. Daragh was very kind and gave us a lift to the shops which was really nice. The cottage was perfect and felt very homely.

Peters Place was wonderful, private. loved being on the farm with the animals. the surrounding area it was all perfect. Lots of area to walk and wonder. Peter offered great suggestions on things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Damian’s place was spot-on for our requirements being within easy reach of our favourite village in the area, Mullaghmore. The brightness and cleanliness of the unit was superb!

Myself and my partner stayed here 4 years ago. Coming back was everything we remembered and enjoyed then. Peaceful and relaxing. We visited Glenn’s tavern this time which was full of trad musicians and had a great night there. Marion was away this time but Declan introduced himself with some fresh homemade scones and gave us some recommendations of where to eat in the nearby town of Glenties

Having the EIR code helped us find this hidden gem, tucked away on John’s family farm in scenic Boyle. Though the weather was rainy, homemade scones awaited us when we entered the cabin. The cabin was clean, modern and utilized its space well. We slept very deeply, and enjoyed the scenery and hospitality of John’s family.

Anne’s loft was just as described. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and Anne was a very friendly and responsive host. A friendly welcome with scones, jam and milk were very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again and have my eye on the barn for next time.

The Family stay was excellent for all ages the house was perfect big kitchen quiet to room and all big bedrooms. Easy to find and close to some local bits and easy to get to Carrick on Shannon and lough key Forrest park

We had a fantastic time staying at Shelia's place (The Snug). Situated in the quiet village of Dunkineely located between Donegal Town and Killybegs, the accommodation is the ideal base to explore this part of Donegal. The enclosed large garden, which has a wonderful view over the bay, was perfect for our dog Molly. The people of the village were very friendly, there is a Mace 1 min walk away should you need anything and you'll receive a warm welcome (dogs too !!) in Macs Bar if you fancy a pint. We didn't need to contact the host during our stay as we had no problems and everything about the place was perfect. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer. We plan to make a return visit.

We’ve just left the most marvelous two days in the cottage at Primrose Farm! We rested, and wondered around, and hung laundry on the prettiest clothesline I’ve ever seen! My daughter was sad to leave and wants to know when we can come back. The owners left delightful touches at every turn: tiny glasses with fresh-cut flowers, and pretty stacks of towels, and brownies and coffee and boundless kindness. We’ll always remember our time there!

My family loved our stay at Ardcarne Lodge. Brian and his parents were helpful and welcoming, with lots of local recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, and the lodge itself was utterly charming. We also appreciated the fresh flowers, and the grocery essentials in the fridge. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland!

This is a beautiful, clean studio apartment in an ideal location. The apartment was ideally situated for our needs. The space was cosy, clean, well stocked n and comfortable. The kitchen area was stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, cereals, milk, etc. The private patio and dedicated parking space were added benefits. Isabella is a very good host and spends time telling you about the cottage and the sorrounding area. The cottage is set in a peaceful area with plenty of parking .Farm animals can be seen in the nearby fields with hens around the garden. The cottage is very well furnished with plenty of bed clothes and towels.The kitchen has everthing you need with coffee tea milk butter etc provided. I would recommend the cottage for a peaceful getaway.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our 2 night stay at Carmel’s place. We arrived to find a basket of bread, butter, milk and sweet treats which was a lovely surprise after our drive to town. Her home was roomy, comfortable and quiet, and a short drive to all the great places Sligo has to offer.
