Family-friendly holiday rentals in Londonderry

This was a last minute few days away, and what a find, so peaceful, I loved the garden, could just potter about in it all day, huge fish pond so relaxing . Little slice of heaven. We have 2 pugs one very very anxious, Nicola was so understanding. Hot tub was a wonderful bonus. Definitely recommend this place, in such a lovely area and walking distance to the beach .

Just back from an amazing 2 night stay at the cottage with the 2 fur babies, gwyneth and keith was absolutely outstanding hosts! very helpful and fast replies… the 2 dogs absolutely loved the big garden and will sleep for about a week now!😂 the cottage was gorgeous and was very clean. The garden was huge and very private with outstanding views. The hot tub was a huge bonus, the hosts have absolutely thought of everything and really go above and beyond for the guests all the wee extra touches they do were fab we all really enjoyed our stay felt right at home, will definitely be back!

Hugh's house was stunning I really enjoyed my stay here would love to come back again. The place was so clean and the kitchen is beautiful, he had everything in that you would need. The outdoor area was private and quiet, it was a blessing to sit outside and have a coffee in the morning. I messaged him questions about the hot tub and he was very responsive and easy to follow with his instructions. A brilliant house and location, Thanks Hugh!

Booked this house for a wee treat getaway for my mother who just went through cancer treatment with a bunch of girls & we had the best time from start to finish. The place was beautiful very spacious, had everything we needed & we really enjoyed the hottub. The host was so helpful & answered any questions i had within seconds. Would definitely recommend this place

Orla's property was a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of busy life. A beautiful wee gem in nature, log cabin exactly as pictured, clean with all facilities to enjoy your stay. Orla was very responsive to any questions asked. We are glad we got the added extra of the hot tub, which was lovely to relax and take in the stunning views of the sun setting. We fell in love with their beautiful dogs Marti and Gerry it was lovely to get a wee visit, they were very friendly. We would definitely recommend their accommodation for an escape. We hope to visit again in the future. Thank you 😊

The place really worth the money. Nice surroundings, half an hour to the beach. Jacuzzi is a bonus! The host very nice and helpful. Really would recommended this place.10 out of 10😊

Absolutely beautiful surroundings and a beautiful house. The smell as soon as you enter is lovely, just like a sauna with all the cedar wood. The view is beautiful, and the hot tub was super. The house is close to all the activities, a 5 min drive to everything. Thanks Pearl for a lovely stay!

Myself and my husband had a lovely stay. Just what we needed to relax. Beautifully clean pod, with fresh milk, cereal etc for the next morning. We would highly recommend and will most definitely be back.

Lorna is a fantastic host, very responsive, with great attention to detail. The house is beautiful, ideally located within walking distance of Portrush and Portstewart and includes all the necessary components to instantly make you feel right at home. This was our first trip away with our 6 month old and Lorna’s house and hosting was major factor in us having a wonderful time. We can’t wait to return.

Perfect location for easy access to the promenade, the strand and everything in between. Gorgeous views, lovely period home which retains its character but is warm and homely. We really appreciated the clean linen, well kitted out kitchen, washer and dryer and big back garden. The living room is a standout - really comfy sofa and armchairs, beautiful bay window and fab views. Also very grateful for Sean’s support in accommodating our needs at the end of our stay. Would happily stay again.

We had a great time here. It's just a short walk into Portrush centre and to the beach. The apartment was quiet despite being so handily placed.

Charlie's place was a peaceful cottage, well positioned for visiting the Causeway. Everything was in good working order, warm to come into on the chillier nights and lots of hot water. The beds were very comfortable. as we were just 2 adults and 2 small dogs there was lots of space and the dogs were very relaxed there. good space outside, with a sitting area and clear space for turning the car. Cosy, warm, bright, airy and exceptionally clean. Very well equipped throughout, particularly the kitchen. The cottage is a great place to experience the Rosguill peninsula regardless of the changeable Donegal weather. In particular, the sunroom has beautiful views across Sheephaven bay. It was a perfect place for our two dogs. Close to beaches & an ideal location for an superb stay in the Downings area.

My family loved your place. Walking distance to the beach, short drive to Port Rush for groceries. We fell in love with the butcher shop , wonderful meat and fresh produce. The house was so comfortable. Especially the beautiful sunroom. We enjoyed the little stove every evening. We would stay here again. Our 15 day trip is now over, and the family voted that of all our accommodations yours was the very best. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home - we loved it. R Silvester June 2025

'Sarah's Cottage ' was exactly as seen on website and very clean with all the the necessary equipment for self catering (not that we ate in as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by in Bushmills). It is easy to walk to the coast or into Bushmills or to travel further to all the tourist spots along the north coast. Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic find. David’s place met our expectations and beyond. The finishing touches in the decor, furnishings and kitchen/bathroom additions was second to none. Great location for local amenities and as a base for exploring beyond. David is a super friendly and responsive host offering a vast array of information on both the house and local areas. 100% recommend and we hope to visit again soon. Thanks David x

This cottage is really sweet and comfy. It is literally only a few steps to the rocky, wild romantic beach. We had great sunsets that we could watch from the warmth of the livingroom. You can walk to Ballycastle in 20 minutes. It's a very special space in every way and we appreciated it very much.

Gillian provided the perfect cottage for our holiday, we cannot fault the property! It absolutely felt like a home away from home! we will definately be back next time we visit this part of the world. We absolutely loved our stay at The Loft. Perfect location to attend a wedding nearby. The loft was absolutely spotless and had such comfortable furnishings and sheets etc. We were delighted to have access to Netflix on the TV, as we were planning a quiet night in👌🏼 The surrounding area and Sarah’s property is absolutely beautiful and a great base to explore the country side and coast of surrounding areas
