Holiday rentals with lake access in Logan

What a beautiful spot! If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and pristine spot near Ohio U and Hocking Hills, this is a MUST book. Emily was extremely accommodating with early check in and late check out so we could soak up as much quiet time as possible. The deck is a perfect morning coffee spot with plenty of bird species visiting regularly. A comfortable bed, a chef inspired kitchen, and great local recommendations rounds out a perfect reservation. After a long day hiking in Hocking or just exploring Athens (which is super eclectic and really fun!) Emily’s home is the perfect place to rest and unwind. I will definitely be booking again. Thank you for everything!

Nice quaint spot pretty close to all the trails of hocking hills. Felt private enough despite having a few neighbors near bye. Great fishing spot just a walk away from the cottage. Only issue was that there is no air conditioning from what we saw. Tried lowering the thermostat but didn’t do anything. Couldn’t find any air vents for where an AC would come from. Recommend bringing fans for the hotter months but luckily it wasn’t too hot and opening the windows brought a good breeze in.

We attended an event at Burr Oak Lodge, and Steven’s place was a beautiful 12 minute drive to the lodge. We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cute, and super inviting. Everything was exactly as described, and it felt like a cozy home away from home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming spot. The host went the extra mile by providing a case of drinking water, new plush towels and pillows, and a binder that included information about the home as well as things to enjoy in the area. We already want to go back to enjoy the lake and the Buckeye trail!

Nathan was a great host and I highly recommend his place. We had a couple questions and he responded very quickly and was very helpful and very friendly! There is hiking, the marina and beach right there with restaurants close by! 100% recommend

To say this home was fantastic is an understatement. This home exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped with all the amenities we could ask for. Plenty of dishes for our large group and everything was clean and welcoming. I thought it a little "odd" that they ask to leave your shoes at the door but that's what we do in our home and it shows. This place was probably the cleanest rental home I've ever stayed. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, wonderful wrap around deck. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay. The welcome packet with details and photos of nearby trails, grocery stores, and restaurants was over the top. We felt like we were staying at a close friend or relatives home it was so welcoming.

What a stay at the evergreen! From the start to finish, our stay at the evergreen was top notch. Theofania, our host, has put countless hours making her guest feel welcomed and safe at her air bnb. The house was beautiful and came with awesome amenities. We had a fire inside while watching a movie on the box tv from the dvd player. We felt like kids again and we truly experienced rest during our stay as well. Theofania also has many labels through out the house to help guests navigate the ins and outs of their stay. We also found out that Theofania is a musician and we looked her up. She kills it on the piano. Truly a work of art! If we ever return to the area, we will 1000% be returning to Theofania’s home.

If you’re lucky enough to find an available slot, book it. Ideal location if you’re looking for a place to get a way with a group of your friends. Conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, and everything you else you may need, while also being secluded and totally private. Brent and Kelley go above and beyond to make the property feel like home. They are hospitable, friendly, and generous with their space.

Me & my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean & very quiet. The location was great, the nearby restaurants were very good. We’d come back again.

Came through for just one night while hiking in the area and found this gem! Jeff and Nicci were great hosts and super nice. The view was beautiful and serene.

Perfect place to stay. We really just needed somewhere to sleep since we planned on hiking most of our trip. The place was clean and had things to do at the property too. The host provided recommendations and travel guides to help. Extremely close to the state park!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin on Lake Logan. The neighborhood was quiet, and the view walking out in the morning overlooking the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Our favorite feature was definitely the hot tub, located on the back patio, as it was very clean and private. It was the perfect way to relax in the evening after a hike in the park. We found the bed to be comfortable and comparable to our queen bed at home (other reviewers have questioned the size). A short drive from The Coffee Emporium for breakfast or a delicious snack, and minutes from both the park and downtown Logan, the location was ideal. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills, comfortable cabin close to it all, this rental is for you.

It has a good location and comfortable beds. Very Clean and well-organized, and Everything is functional. It was a pleasant stay for us, and I would recommend it.

We wanted to find a place that wasn’t too far from home but would still be a little escape to take our boys to every year. This was our second year staying at this house. We could probably go later in the summer when it’s warmer and have more to do, but we like to go in the spring time. It’s secluded but not far from town or stores. Very private. Loved the paddle boat! We look forward to staying again next year!

Love this cabin! Our second stay here. Comfortable and roomy in a beautiful setting. We especially enjoy the electric fireplace, very cozy! 1st Choice Cabin Rentals hosts are helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely try to book this Airbnb next time.

I hate to give a such a glowing review because I don’t want to generate more competition to rent it in the future, but this venue was wonderful. We stayed this location for OU Mom’s Weekend & it was a fantastic choice! It was the perfect place to relax, connect and unwind when we weren’t in Athens. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted. It was a convenient Uber ride away & perfect for a group of moms. If you want a sweet place tucked away from the hustle with some cool country amenities, then this is the rental for you. It looks like they’re in the process of making improvements, but honestly the imperfections were part of its charm. Highly recommended!

Jeff’s home is a beautiful gem at Burr Oak. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had such a great time and are very grateful for the opportunity to stay at such a lovely home.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway! The place was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was great, only 20-25 min away from all the hiking,adventures and stores if needed. Beautiful views and enjoyed the lake being right there. There were neighbors but they were a little distance away so that was nice as well! I would def recommend!

Homey. Felt like staying at a friends house with all of the extras. Lots of spices and leftover condiments, a few extra groceries in the fridge and freezer ( used some and left some), house just felt like you we welcome, not like a visitor, but like family. Close proximity to Dock #1 made it great to come and go as needed during a few days of great fishing.
