We had a great stay. Close to trails. Found a lot to do in Lancaster.

Place was wonderful! Caught lots of small fish without leaving our cabin! Clean, friendly. This was our 2nd time staying at their cabins. Would definitely recommend!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We felt right at home immediately and the interior and exterior was warm, inviting, and peaceful. The interior decoration brought the outside nature in, and the surrounding land was breathtaking. The private trails were perhaps our favorite of the entire area and the hot tub and fire pit were divine! We can wait to return to this property again.

Amazing place! We enjoyed the hot tub and movie room in the basement. It is close to Logan, so we can access restaurants easily. We will visit again soon! Thanks Kevin!

Booked a 3 day stay here and the environment was amazing. Very peaceful and quiet as well as relaxing.

The cottage was just as described. A wonderful hocking hills weekend. Within 15 minutes of parks. The cottage is quiet and private. 10/10

Beautiful cabin and surroundings. The cabin is VERY nice, with a very warm and cozy atmosphere. The hot tub is outdoors, but very private, and it's all right across lake logan. Genuinely incredible stay and incredible host!

Ann is a great host, very responsive to any ?’s and even checked in to see how the first night went. Fire pit was perfect and the pond had a couple good sized fish in it that We could see from the edge of the pond even though the water was a bit murky/pond like. Location is Super accessible to all of Hocking Hills trails and sites!

The peace and serenity of this cabin is second to none. The sound of the moving river waters and nature soothes our souls. Kathryn has always been the best and most attentive host. We appreciate her so much. We frequent the cabin 2-3 times a year and look forward to each and every stay. 💕

We wanted to find a place that wasn’t too far from home but would still be a little escape to take our boys to every year. This was our second year staying at this house. We could probably go later in the summer when it’s warmer and have more to do, but we like to go in the spring time. It’s secluded but not far from town or stores. Very private. Loved the paddle boat! We look forward to staying again next year!

Was visiting hocking hills state park. it was about a 30 -40 drive to most of the site. So was not bad drive. and joyed the view. It was so quite and peaceful. It was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the birds! hardly anyone drove by! The house was nice with plenty of space to move around. The first floor room would be very accessible for anyone! The start upstairs where very steep.

A relaxing place with Idyll brand candles, soap, etc. So fun and smelled lovely. Well stocked kitchen with a high-end espresso machine. It's always so great to come back from a hike and have a nice soak in the hot tub. Couldn't ask for a better location to world class hiking and interesting breweries. We were lucky to be there during the Washboard Festival in Logan and caught some very talented bands. We also enjoyed listening to the eclectic record collection on the Victrola. It seemed like we were in a tree house because of all the windows with the views of the forest. Thanks for all the detailed instructions to the home and to the area. I almost forgot how much I loved the books tucked into the shelves.

We had a lovely stay at Uckor’s Cottage in Hocking Hills! The space was cozy with warm tones and comfy seating, and the wraparound deck was perfect for relaxing after hikes. Though the floors needed a sweep and the cookware was worn, everything else was great, including the fire pit and hot tub. Our dog was right at home and loved the porch and property. It’s a short drive to Logan for food and supplies, Pizza Crossing and 58 West were both great! We’d definitely come back.

I loved it!! It’s so peaceful and quiet, the location was perfect for a getaway, my only complaint would be that the hot tub didn’t work during our stay but other then that everything else was perfect. Very clean, nice and cozy. The hosts were extremely friendly and we loved the little “adventure” book they had on the counter. Highly recommend a stay at this cabin!!

We had a great time on our family vacation here! The host was helpful and responsive with everything we needed. The place was nice and looks just like the pictures. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, and we appreciated that firewood was provided. Lots of great hikes nearby. Overall we had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin on Lake Logan. The neighborhood was quiet, and the view walking out in the morning overlooking the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Our favorite feature was definitely the hot tub, located on the back patio, as it was very clean and private. It was the perfect way to relax in the evening after a hike in the park. We found the bed to be comfortable and comparable to our queen bed at home (other reviewers have questioned the size). A short drive from The Coffee Emporium for breakfast or a delicious snack, and minutes from both the park and downtown Logan, the location was ideal. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills, comfortable cabin close to it all, this rental is for you.

We loved our weekend stay at the cottage! It was cozy and we felt right at home - loved the jacuzzi tub. I only wish there was a kitchenette - there are wine glasses in the cottage (awesome) but no way to wash them, so I felt bad leaving my unwashed dishes on the table. The restaurant Kindred Spirits is also cozy and felt like home - with delicious breakfast! All around a beautiful, peaceful getaway for two!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect and close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth and easy. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We booked a last minute one-day stay at this location (and by last minute, I mean at 4am the night before to be there at 4pm check in). Nicole did a great job of responding, confirming the stay and getting us setup to enjoy our time at the cabin. We showed up early and explored the area prior to check in and had zero issues getting into the cabin to grab a quick nap and head back out! Zero issues in figuring anything out in regards to the functions of the cabin. We'll definitely recommend this location to our friends & family and look forward to coming back. Oh, and don't forget the free breakfast - it's incredible!

It has a good location and comfortable beds. Very Clean and well-organized, and Everything is functional. It was a pleasant stay for us, and I would recommend it.

Love this cabin! Our second stay here. Comfortable and roomy in a beautiful setting. We especially enjoy the electric fireplace, very cozy! 1st Choice Cabin Rentals hosts are helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely try to book this Airbnb next time.

I hate to give a such a glowing review because I don’t want to generate more competition to rent it in the future, but this venue was wonderful. We stayed this location for OU Mom’s Weekend & it was a fantastic choice! It was the perfect place to relax, connect and unwind when we weren’t in Athens. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted. It was a convenient Uber ride away & perfect for a group of moms. If you want a sweet place tucked away from the hustle with some cool country amenities, then this is the rental for you. It looks like they’re in the process of making improvements, but honestly the imperfections were part of its charm. Highly recommended!
