Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Logan

The home was very cozy and great for a private getaway. Proximity to the highway made getting to the National Forrest and the nearby towns very easy.

Tammy’s home was great! The place was clean and had so many thoughtful amenities. Location was perfect distance from town and from hiking at the park! Would definitely come back!

The place was spotless and very nice. They had a nice welcome binder that had tons of information. The kitchen is stocked with most dishes you may need to cook with. A large bonus to me was that the check out instructions were minimal as they placed emphasis on us enjoying our stay and not worrying about making the place spotless again. All we needed to have taken care of was the dishes! Hocking Hills and all of its attractions are about 20 minutes away. We had a lovely stay!

This worked out perfectly for our group of three! The home was a comfortable, clean, peaceful place to relax between explorations of the local area, particularly the nearby town of Logan and trails in the Hocking Hills area. The spacious backyard was especially welcoming, with the neighboring animals (goats, ponies, horses, etc.) and mowed pathways among the trees that made for a lovely stroll before settling down for evening s'mores at the fire pit. Caleb clearly cares about his guests, and was an active communicator making sure we had everything we needed!

Cute little cottage by a small creek. There was a water bowl for my dog. As described, clean, and cute. I would stay again. Proximity to Hocking Hills State Park was a plus for us.

This house was a great fit for our family to visit Hocking hills. - Kristen's place is very family oriented from having kids toys to supplying a highchair and pack-and-play! - The house is very clean and decently well stocked with what amenities you would need. - The water does smell very strongly like sulfur so I would highly recommend bringing drinking water. - The location of this house is almost perfect with being ~10 mins from Logan's grocerie stores and restaurants, yet still within 25 mins of all the Hocking hills hikes. - This house is very private. The listing seems to hint at a nice view from the house, but with leaves on the trees there is no view at all. Thanks so much for hosting us, we enjoyed our getaway!

Spacious enough for one or two people. I usually stay far away from anyone, but being behind their house really wasn't an issue. 20 minutes outside Athens. Check out the nearby rural grocery store, which still has a non-electronic gas pump!

Cindy has an amazing place to stay that was easily accessible for my family. Although we had a-lot of running around for my son’s graduation, it was nice to have a place to go back to rest up. Sorry we didn’t have time to meet face to face, but Cindy answered any emails promptly. We definitely recommend Cindy’s place to our friends that have children at Ohio U and want a close place to stay in the future. If we ever plan a trip back, we w look yo book again. My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

Came through for just one night while hiking in the area and found this gem! Jeff and Nicci were great hosts and super nice. The view was beautiful and serene.

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

Hosts Brenda and Deborah were extremely warm, welcoming, and flexible! We were on a short trip for a graduation at Ohio University, about 12 minutes away. Due to delayed flights and 1.5 hour drive from Columbus Airport, we didn't arrive until 10:30pm, and Deb was waiting on the porch to greet us and get us settled. Very much appreciated! Communication was great, including directions (by phone) re: the country roads in the dark. The space is large, as described and seen in photos, sort of a "basement apartment" in a gorgeous area, very peaceful. The place and hosts are down-to-earth, as we had hoped, making our stay lovely and enjoyable. 😊 Thank you!

Left a 5 star review but i think that is still too low 10/10 recommend. Nice clean home, quiet neighborhood, peaceful. This was my first time using Air BnB and this place has definitely set the bar high. No noisy neighbors, nasty smells, or thoughts of whether there were critters sharing your bed like at a hotel. Would definitely use again!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Blackwood Haven! It looked exactly like the pictures online and had all of the amenities as well. private, peaceful location within 15 minutes to most hiking trails. Would highly recommend this house to everyone looking for a fun, relaxing vacation.

The cabin is beautiful and love the location! We got to see a doe the one morning just walking around in the woods! We had an issue with the TV that Brian was able to walk us through to get it working! He was very nice and quick to answer! It was a short trip but so worth it! We definitely would recommend this cabin and we plan to come back! Thank you for hosting us!

This was our second time staying at the Farmhouse on Barton, and we all had a wonderful time! The home is clean, and located close to hiking trails. If you are looking for an Airbnb that is in a peaceful setting, and close to Hocking Hills State Park, I’d highly recommend this home.

Great place, easy to find and a beautiful property. The only thing we would note is to bring your own water, the water smells strongly of sulfur but not a big deal as long as you have your own to drink!

Rosalie is one of the best hosts! Her place was even better than the description. Her attention to detail is unmatched - everything’s clearly explained how to use , where to find, etc. Her place was cozy and clean. The activities outside on her beautiful large porch areas were perfect for our family. Our boys LOVED the hot tub! The indoor space and activities is also unmatched to most other places we looked. So much to do, space to spread out, and peaceful with plentiful amenities to help you relax! Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms with toiletries for all that we needed. Rosalie is SO thorough in her communication before during, and after your stay. We couldn’t recommend this place enough! Most attractions are within a 25-30 min scenic drive. Great place for a family (or a few families)! Our family (two boys ages 6 &4) will definitely be back!
