The host is very welcoming. This is the most beautiful house we have ever traveled to, with fairytale beauty and stunning lake views. Every corner of the house is carefully arranged. Every place is clean. The bedding is also very good. I will choose to stay here again if I have the chance. I will also recommend it to friends.

We had a wonderful week with our dog with a frozen lake, a snow-capped landscape and cozy fireplace - a really great cabin! Olav is a very helpful and very nice host and thank him very much for this special week!

What a wonderful place! We fell in love with Line's cottage as soon as we arrived. The cottage is super cozy and has everything WE needed. The terrace is brilliant with a stunning view over the lake. Our dog loved the place too. The terrace is surrounded by a fence so she could walk outside anytime she wanted. We were also allowed to play with her in the big garden. Line is a very warm and friendly person. She was always available and helped us out. We really recommend her place to everyone who wants to relax surrounded by nature and a few nice people!

Our most beautiful place yet. We felt very, very comfortable. They even had the opportunity to sail a boat. We will definitely come back again, as we find the cottage, area and landlord simply great.

A solid apartment right on the waterfront with lovely views. Tastefully decorated and well equipped. We just had time to try the one kayak, plus small boat and hot tub were available. We were lucky with the weather every day and used the great docking facility for sunbathing and swimming, in addition to the amazing Groos beach. Small and big questions were quickly clarified with the host. Nice opportunity to charge an electric car in your own garage space. Walking distance to Grimstad city center for buying fresh baked goods and a trip on the city. All in all a great stay and we would love to come back!

We were in the cabin over New Year's Eve. From temperatures between 2 and -13 degrees, everything was there. The cottage is very cute and includes everything you need and more. With the wood-burning stove, the cabin can be heated in a relaxed manner. We had to get wood a few times, but that's no problem at the YX gas station in Evje. If you don't have any more wood, there is still a propane gas heater. We enjoyed it very much. It is super cozy when there is snow chaos outside and everything is nice and warm inside. The contact with Aase was easy, quick and straightforward. We will be happy to come back again.

Hi, We highly recommend this apartment. We had an absolute wonderful stay at Anna’s apartment. It’s a specious, beautiful, and centrally located apartment on the top floor. It has all the utensils you need for a family, the bedrooms are big, and there is a very nice furnished terrace which we enjoyed every day :) Anna is a very kind and welcoming owner who always responded fast and was flexible and offered support whenever we needed it. When we ever return to Kristiansand, we are hoping to stay here again :) Thank you for everything, Anna!

This was our second stay at this wonderful house. Also see my first review from 2022 which still holds true! The waterfront property has fantastic views, is clean and tidy, has a kitchen full of cooking utensils, comfy beds a boat to rent and a helpful and responsive hostess …. So it is basically perfect. We hope to return in two or three years and get to see the boat house completed! Thank you for sharing your home.

Well equipped house and well cleaned when we arrived. We were a group of 9 and this was perfect considering the number of sleeping places.

An absolutely amazing apartment that exceeded all expectations! Modern, spacious and elegantly decorated, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is fully equipped, bed is incredibly comfortable! The location is perfect – quiet area, but at the same time short distance to the city center. The host is very welcoming and makes sure everything is top notch. This place is a gem and I highly recommend it!

The safest experience I've had in the context of renting a place to stay on a trip. Spacious, clean, and tidy vacation rental that matches the descriptions on the listing. Access to indoor pool, hot tub and sauna a stone's throw away from the unit. These amenities we got to take advantage of with no time restrictions. Very comfortable! Host Mergim, is by far one of the nicest I have met. Incredibly tidy, safe, helpful and flexible. Good communication as needed during the whole stay. Highly recommended for anyone who values a safe host on a par with accommodation. Mergim is top notch. 10/10 ⭐️

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

Overall an awesome experience. Very special location by living on an island 3-4min away from the land in a very modern house. Jørgen is a great host and is very helpful. The communication was very easy and fast.

Very happy with your stay. Kid-friendly with nearby playgrounds. Big plus with access to swimming pool. The apartment was well equipped with what you need, even toys for the little ones. The whole family had a great time. Cozy and accommodating host. Nice to travel to all year long. We were there on Easter. 30 min drive to Dyreparken, but it was worth it.

The location of the rental is great for walking the city, we walked to kilden for a performance. The only drawback is that since it is so central, there was a lot of late night noise from the street. It was a hot day and we needed to keep the windows open at night. Overall I think it’s a great rental, it’s cozy, a little tight for 4 people, but great for walking and seeing the city. Very helpful and friendly host, met us an hour early for checkin.

We had a wonderful long weekend in the beautiful holiday apartment! We were two families and 10 people, and had plenty of space. The apartment was very clean and nice, tastefully decorated and well equipped! We especially appreciated the access to the indoor pool and playgrounds just outside. Very nice host. I highly recommend the place!

Very nice home located in private surroundings completely without disturbance. We felt very at home and have all the necessary things they were needed. That's why both the house and the place lived up to our expectations. Hans was a great host and quick to answer any questions. Definitely a place we could visit again 😊

Great experience. It was such a joy for me and 18 others to come to Gunnar's beautiful home. Amazingly beautiful setting. There was an easy and clear communication between Gunnar and me - so it was really easy. It was clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to get to. There were bathrooms for pretty much every room.

We were passing through and only spent one night at Espen's. Although we didn't arrive until late at night, we found everything right away thanks to the exact instructions. The beds for the 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children) were well prepared, so we had a relaxing night and were able to travel well rested. The apartment is small, but has everything you need, perfectly sufficient for one night.

We had a great time! Private and quiet. Spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. Please note that the kitchen and bathroom are in actual sea buzz. Awesome place, close to Kristiansand and the Zoo
