Went up with some of my old buddies and we had a ball. Great little house clean as a pen and when there was a little problem with the fridge Peggy and Josh jumped right on it. 10 out of 10 I would not hesitate to take my family there!

It is such a beautiful property! Incredible Appalachian scenery, and so much interesting history around the inspiring Mary Breckenridge story. I would recommend The Cottage for anyone interested in experiencing the Kentucky mountains. This is not my first stay at The Cottage. I've hosted up to 6 adults, and it felt (as we would say in SE KY) plenty big! I can always count on a clean, comfortable, memorable experience at The Cottage. And Davida is THE BEST!

We thought we were going to get in early. So we messaged Lindsey asking g if we could go in a little bit before check in and she responded quickly. Everything was as she had in the description. other then the breath taking veiw. Definitely recommended

I was set up in a one bedroom after the 2 BR fell through and was blown away! It was like staying at the Biltmore Hotel! Very clean and enjoyable stay. WiFi easily streamed movies. It’s about 5-7 minutes from downtown Hazard. I would not say it’s within walking distance, but close to town. The Hazard hospital is maybe 15 minutes away. The stay is next to a major road. If loud noises keep you up, I wouldn’t recommend booking it. I had no trouble sleeping. Hosts are responsive and friendly. Parking is in front of the units. Plenty of space for one full size car or SUV, maybe two if they are not fully booked. Pet friendly with washer and dryer and dishwasher. I would stay again!
