Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lawrence

Wish my wife could have seen all Debi has done to personalize her home, it was amazing!

Deb’s place was wonderful. She’s a fantastic host, and her breakfasts—fresh fruit, homemade muffins, coffee, and tea—were a real treat. We enjoyed great conversations with her and her husband, Mike, and learned a lot about the area. Staying in a historic home added to the charm, and we loved relaxing on the porch. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, and we really appreciated having convenient on-site parking. The room was spacious and included two bedrooms, making it a perfect stay.

We stayed at Christy’s place in Ottawa, KS, for our daughter’s college graduation and absolutely loved it! The house was fantastic; clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for guests. One of the highlights was the beautiful park right across the street, which was perfect for the kids to play at and burn off some energy. The backyard was great too, especially for hosting a BBQ with family. Christy was incredibly responsive and welcoming. She even had delicious scones waiting for us when we arrived; such a sweet and thoughtful touch! We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

Janet is an amazing host. She made me feel right at home and was very friendly. She even offered me pizza and invited me on the back deck for coffee while she watered her plants. There were so many singing birds out back in the morning and she is located within walking distance to a pond or lake. I didn’t take the time to visit but I’m sure it would be a peaceful experience. Janet is invested in ensuring her guests feel welcome and enjoy the time they spend in her home.

Ryan’s home was so clean and was very communicative and accommodating for our move!

Suzy’s home was truly special—comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up. Her house rules and instructions were clear and easy to follow. I did make the mistake of parking directly in front of the home, but I just had to move my car across the street. A small adjustment for such a wonderful stay—totally worth it!

Staying at the KC Castle was an unforgettable experience—like stepping into a fairytale with all the comforts of modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the castle’s stunning architecture and meticulous attention to detail. Every room is beautifully decorated, blending historic charm with upscale touches that made us feel like royalty. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Communication was prompt and thoughtful, and it was clear they truly care about creating a special experience for their guests. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, and the little surprises around every corner added to the magic of the place. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a unique family trip, or a once-in-a-lifetime stay with friends, the KC Castle is a dream come true. We made memories here that we’ll cherish forever and can’t wait to return. Five stars aren’t enough—this place is a gem!

Adam is an excellent host. He was immediately available whenever I had questions. Note that the laundry is in a basement with a separate entrance that’s not attached the house but otherwise the place is great!

Emma and Chin’s place was great just what we were looking for. We enjoyed visiting our friends in Leavenworth and the Airbnb made the experience even better. Their home is so cute and comfortable perfect for our family! They were so accommodating and responsive to any issue that came up. So many thoughtful details and touches. I am definitely going to stay here again when I come back to Leavenworth!

This is the second time I have stayed at Yellow Door, and just like the first time it did not disappoint. The hosts are friendly and easy to communicate with, they make everything easy from check in to check out. The house was prefect for our weekend stay and convenient for downtown dining and other activities. We are very pleased with all the house amenities, it was clean and tidy. Definitely a great place for a weekend stay.

Decent hotel. Room was as advertised, but doesn’t appear to be in the best location. We had no issues though. Continental breakfast was essentially gone by 8:30

We really enjoyed our stay at this air bnb! We were in for a wedding and the other guests were staying at home 2 suites which was literally in our backyard. We got to hang out with all the other guests while having our own space and not paying for an expensive hotel room. Check out was so easy and we didn’t have to do much at all other then pack up our belongings. This allowed us to take our time leaving and enjoy a slow, non rushed morning.

This property worked very well for our family. We had 11 people stay here and we had plenty of room. We had a great time with the fire pit and the kids really enjoyed the yard games. We were able to use Marietta’s grill to have a nice cook out. We really enjoyed watching the Olympics together as a family in living room TV area. We really appreciated the breakfast foods provided for us which included bagels, English muffins, cinnamon bread and all kinds of fruit. Very nice! Great family experience and memories!

Book this space. Like, seriously. Chris was super friendly, a great host, very communicative. The actual Lodge was GORGEOUS. The attention to detail of decor had us sitting there in awe. Beautiful decor, cozy layout, great space, comfy furniture and bed, amazing shower, cute patio area, unassuming outside, super easy to find and access. We even caught him at the perfect time to get to check out the other spaces and some recs for good local food! I’m pretty sure we’d move in tomorrow if Chris was up for renting! We’ll definitely be back!

I have stayed in Kim's apartments several times. I have always enjoyed. Only suggestion, put a brighter lightbulb l above the door that goes into the apartment. We checked in after dark, and it was extremely hard to read the numbers on the keypad. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

Amy & Erich were very friendly and we were quite comfortable in the Roost. We were happy to be able to charge our car. We enjoyed an early morning walk to the University along with Erich's lattes and Amy's muffins.

Exactly as described. We stayed in the Sunflower room and loved it. Cat is an incredible host. Thank you for the hospitality!

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. A beautiful house and loved the way the sunflower room was set up. The bed was extremely comfortable! I would definitely stay here again. My host Sharon was very nice and served a delicious breakfast. The house was spotless and well maintained.

Fantastic and comfortable stay at Cat's place! The house is absolutely charming. I really appreciated all the nice touches to make me comfortable (coffee station upstairs, bathrobe and spare toiletries, extra cozy blankets). Cat is exceptionally friendly and kind. She made a fantastic breakfast of homemade oatmeal that was perfect for venturing out into the cold day! Thanks for a great stay!

Cat's place was nice and quiet. the bed was comfortable and both the room and bathroom were clean and cozy. Cat was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again in the future!

Sharon’s bed and breakfast is amazing! Not only is it affordable, but Sharon makes you feel right at home. She is accommodating to anything you need and she is very thoughtful and kind while still giving you privacy. Overall, if you are in Ottawa you must stay with her!

Such a beautiful home to stay at! Our room was so clean and Kathy was so kind and personable. We really enjoyed our breakfast at the kitchen table, but really enjoyed having bread and coffee delivered to enjoy in private. This is a MUST stay!

Kathy+Jason set the bar high and exceeded all expectations. Tremendous hosts, delicious breakfast (Kathy is an amazing baker), beautiful home, and the perfect location. We definitely plan to return! Thank you for making our 3 night stay so perfect!
