a small place but very good location and perfect equipment, very close to many places and quite welcoming

Serene is a unique apartment that was perfect for me. The private patio and open air bathroom with lots of plants are was what made this place different than other places that I stayed before. The area was very quiet when much of Laureles can be quite loud. But it was still located in an area that I walked to every thing. On days I chose to stay in, it felt like a retreat. The hosts were great. Very communicative, friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay.

Superhost and good place to stay.

A lot of good with this stay with some quirks. The mgmt company is responsive and helpful The checkin process was effortless. This is a real 1 br, which can be hard to find in Laureles. The bed is very comfy and I love that the living room has a couch. If you cook, this isn't for you as the kitchen only has a small tabletop burner. The wifi is fast (~150 down). AC is very effective & cools the living room easily too. The apartment comes clean & staff is very helpful with extra towels, etc. There are trash bins right outside of the main door that get emptied often. I would suggest adding a bed-side lamp. The shower has good pressure, but the heat can be intermittent. Also the shower door doesn't stay shut and water gets out easily. The biggest downside might be the nighttime noise, BUT I'll say it didn't overall bother me. It's not much during the day, but at night you'll hear the restaurant across the street then then cleaning crew until about 3am before there is full quietness.
