Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Lanark County

Clean apartment, nice views in the best neighborhood in Aylmer, close to the beach and pubs. To note that the bed in the 2nd bedroom is a trundle bed so best for kids and not 2 adults (and there is no pull out couch) so I would say this unit can comfortably accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids.

This gorgeous home and its surrounding property was beyond anything I could've expected through the photos as it was much more breathtaking in person. Every room, every view - immaculate. Driving in, you really feel like it's that of a dream, just magical. Definitely recommend to anyone who is considering the location. As a host, Savannah was top-notch. She was flexible, friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Any questions I had, it was resolved in a matter of minutes. Thank you, Savannah, for allowing us into your beautiful haven!

Our group (from Montreal) had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we inquired, the host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Not only did Renée and Karen provided everything beyond our expectations, but they also added extra thoughtful touches I hadn’t even thought to ask for, making our experiences even more special. The home itself is beautifully decorated, with every room thoughtfully designed and filled with tasteful details that made it feel warm and welcoming right away. It’s clear that the hosts care deeply about creating a perfect stay for their guests. I highly recommend this place—everything exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t have asked for a better host or home!

Home was exactly as listed, very cozy with lots of great amenities and Jasmin was very responsive and kind. Would definitely stay again!

By way of background, not only have we lived in the area in the past, but we have stayed in numerous Kanata/Stittsville Airbnbs. Overall we have been pretty uniformly disappointed. So fed up with getting six plates, cups and glasses, and one or two pots/pans stocked for a three bedroom home furished with the most basic of furniture possible. This house however, was exceptional. Not only was the house very comfortable but the host was generous in stocking well beyond basics. This is especially true for the kitchen which was as well equipped as my own- and I like to cook. It felt more like a sister letting you use her very spacious and clean house for a week than a rental. I cannot recommend this home enough. If you want a quiet, supremely comfortable and convenient family stay, I sincerely believe you cannot do better than this house/host in the Ottawa west, Kanata, Stittsville area.

My extended family and I spent the weekend at Forest's cottage for a family reunion and it was wonderful! The weather was terrible (for the majority of the time) but the cottage was so spacious and there was so much to do in the cottage itself, it didn't feel like we were missing out on the outdoors. There was something for everyone, from board games, to the tables in the basement, to the fishing and the play structure outside when the weather cooperated!! The house was also incredibly clean and lakefront view couldn't have been better - it really was worth the money! Forest was incredibly responsive and helpful leading up to the trip. Overall, this was a great trip! My family is already hoping to come back next year!

felt right at home. clean, tidy and very well decorated. has lots of toys for kids. 20 mins from downtown. very close to a small town kanata which has everything for food and daily shopping stuff.
