The apartment is set at 21 degrees and there is 3 units upstairs you are not able to change the heat temperature it stays at 21 degrees hope this is not a issue can always supply a heater if needed. Also the building is off of highway 43 so quick access. patio & BBQ

It's in a lower level of a single family house with walkout access and backyard with no rear neighbors, the rear access is facing the forest. it's a great location for business or adventure that can accommodate up to 4 people with too queen size beds. It's location is steps from the downtown area and the beautiful Stewart Park. The kitchen is brand new as are the 2 queen size beds. Great place, clean and as described/shown. Only minor quibble I would note is that cooking some fries in the air fryer (only to golden, far from burnt) did set off the smoke detector as there is no exhaust fan in the kitchenette area and the smoke detector is quite close and apparently sensitive. Took a little while to clear out the air and have beeping cease, not sure how guests can be warned or guided on this but it was the only negative incident in the stay. Host was communicative and responsive, very helpful. There was firewood/kindling/matches to use in the outdoor fireplace, and they set up the electric grill which worked decently though fair warning that it is a challenge to clean afterwards! Rented it for an event in Ottawa and driving back and forth was great but didn't have a chance to explore the local area though it seemed lovely and very peaceful with a quaint downtown street. All in all a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful four night stay at this charming and well-decorated apartment! The space was cozy and thoughtfully furnished, offering most comforts of home. The parking was convenient, the balcony provided views overlooking the Tay Basin and the fireplace added to the ambience. The town itself is delightful, with plenty of wonderful shops and restaurants (most were still open in January), all within walking distance. We were lucky enough to watch the town's Polar Bear Plunge on New Year's Day. We worked remotely from the apartment for two days, and the environment was peaceful and productive. Communication with the host was excellent both before and during our stay, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend!

Clean apartment, nice views in the best neighborhood in Aylmer, close to the beach and pubs. To note that the bed in the 2nd bedroom is a trundle bed so best for kids and not 2 adults (and there is no pull out couch) so I would say this unit can comfortably accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids.
