Cabin holiday rentals in Lanark County

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

My family had the pleasure of staying here for the first week in June 2025. We had a fabulous week enjoying this fabulous cottage and its surroundings. The inside offered us all the comfort and things we needed, including an awesome hot tub "tub" complete with rolled towels, clothes pegs and plastic glasses! Everything was exceptionally clean and there were lots of great books and games to keep us entertained as we lazed around the beautiful property. The kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun as we explored both directions on the river. Honestly the property was SO nice we hardly wanted to leave it but we did manage to get out a few days to visit Ottawa and the cute towns of Perth & Almonte. Two fabulous restaurants we visited and recommend is Joe's Italian Kitchen (In Almonte) and Michael's Table in Perth. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog Russ who had the BEST time all week enjoying the water, boats and watching the wild life from his little fur rug in sunny bay window.

This is such a lovely place to just come and relax. it is a well-appointed house with a lovely bathroom. The hot tub was perfect hot private and relaxing. The kitchen was well-appointed. I will be booking this place in the future.

Booked this for myself and 3 friends for a guys golf weekend. Couldn't be more happy with it. There was lots of room, everything was in fantastic condition. It was clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the wrap around deck was great for relaxing after our rounds of golf. The games room was also frequently used. Before we left were had already all decided to make sure we book this for next year. As a host, Amanda couldn't be better. quick to respond, helpful and overly generous. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

We had a wonderful time over the weekend! We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for a quiet peaceful getaway! Loved listening to the frog symphony and beautiful sunset. It was private and very relaxing. The cabin is small but perfect and very clean. Especially loved the loft and very comfy bed. Everything was perfect!

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

Steph's place is a perfect lake getaway that leaves you wanting for nothing. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable, replete with an updated kitchen (and top notch BBQ), netted windows to let the breeze in, and beds that you won't want to leave... that is until you see the water. The dock is private and plentiful -- the place you will want to park yourself for plenty of sun and swimming. And if somehow you tire of that tranquility, there are many other seating areas distributed throughout to enjoy the peace and quiet. The photos truly don't do it justice... so if you haven't hit book by now, just do it (unless you're eyeing the next time I want to return!). Big thanks to Steph for hosting, the great communication, and leaving no detail left out.

Chris was an excellent host and his property was fantastic. The cabin was spotless, well appointed, and modern. It’s clear that Chris values providing a comfortable stay for his guests, as no detail was left overlooked! The amenities were plentiful and very much enjoyed. Thank you Chris!

This place was beautiful and felt like home! There’s is not a lot of cell phone service only on wifi. The house had everything you needed, just when you thought you brought everything they already had it! Spices, pans, pots, tin foil etc. It is a very quiet area. There was a dock a few minutes away we launched our boat to go fishing as well! Will be back for sure!

Adam was an amazing host and his place was absolutely beautiful. We were 8 men and were more than comfortable. We will be looking to book again next year for our annual Calabogie golf trip. Thanks Adam!

Jeff was very helpful. Place was exactly as expected. It was private, peaceful, and exactly the escape to nature that my husband needed.

This is a great cozy spot! Beautiful view of the lake and the cabin itself is all you need. Beautiful decor, the kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom was nice and clean and they providing shampoo and body wash. Also towels. The bed was comfy and the living room was a lovely cozy area. My only comment was that there was no curtains but not a big issue. It is a smaller cabin but had a great open concept. They also had a bottle of wine with two glasses to welcome us as we walked in:) Roger and Bonnie were very responsive and helpful with directions! Definitely would come back in the summer to try out some fishing.

Christine's place matched the description and surpassed our expectations set by the photos. The view was beautiful, the property expansive, and the house was fully equipped and very clean. There are games, puzzles and books for rainy days. A screened-in gazebo, paddle boards, and kayaks to take advantage of the magnificent lake which is ideal for swimming, kayaking and fishing. I would certainly stay there again.

Beautiful location! It is private with excellent swimming (rocky bottom), spectacular sunsets and great fishing off the dock. We really enjoyed having use of the boats too. Lots of grass for kids to run around and nice fire pit. Cottage is rustic and cozy. We had a wonderful stay.
