Holiday rentals with beach access in Lamlash

A really lovely apartment with great views. Perfectly located within easy walking distance of the town, along a very pleasant promenade. We had a lovely stay in Largs and the glorious sunshine was an added bonus. Pete & Brenda

The flat was perfect for our holiday! The view from the front windows is stunning with lots of different things to look at. The beds were clean and comfortable and the flat is very well equipped. We found Troon town centre an easy walk away and we used the ferry terminal nearby to visit the Isle of Arran.

We had a lovely relaxing long weekend in Ardrossan taking in some local history. The view was exactly as good as pictured and I enjoyed some yoga looking out at the sea. A large Asda is nearby which is well stocked. Adrossan town train station being so close was very handy too.

Beautiful little holiday flat with everything you need for a seaside break. Clean, cosy and fabulous view of the sea at Troon, literally steps away from the beachside promenade. Jeanette had provided literally everything you might need in the kitchen including pain au chocolate for breakfast! Jeanette is so helpful and welcoming.

This apartment is gorgeous. Everything about it.... obviously it's location looking straight out onto the sea. near to the ferry over to Cumbrae. Very quiet street outside.... in fact, although the town was busy in the sunshine, it also retained its quiet family atmosphere. In the apartment everything was as described - a helpful welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs and chocolate biscuits! Spotlessly clean, everything worked, good WiFi, and a responsive host to find out one or two little questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would hope to come back.

Highly enjoyable, but ideally it would have received 4.5 stars. The negative aspect of this apartment was the rather noisy boiler situated in the second bedroom.

We loved staying here. It is an exceptional setting with stunning views whatever the weather. The cottage is beautifully done out inside and feels like home away from home. You can completely cut off from the outside world and relax and unwind. Absolutely worth the 5 stars and we’ll definitely be booking to go back.

The house was booked for 12 friends, we all had a great stay. The garden was beautiful and we spent most time outside due to the beautiful weather. The rooms were all great sizes and were very clean on arrival. The space in the house was great for the event, and everyone in the party felt so at home in the house. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that you would need. Bathrooms were well kept, and the hosts had left plenty of towels for hotub. The games room was perfect for evening entertainment and we had great laughs in there during our stay. The house location is a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal and 5 min drive into dunoon town. Would highly recommend booking this for a weekend away!

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were totally blown away by how amazing this place is. What a beautiful, characterful home. Very easy space to relax in, with everything you need and more. Stunning location. Sitting in the window or on the front porch the views were mesmerising. Half an hour to Loch Lomond and The Cobbler. Discovered the sailing club across the road and watched sailing races while enjoying a G&T. Brian the host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

The pictures do not do this property justice. It is large, clean, quiet and beautiful. It’s right near the town while being very peaceful and private. Communication was excellent. The dryer was a real plus. Thanks for a great stay on Arran!

We’re just home from a 3 night stay here and this accommodation was just perfect! It’s set in a beautiful spot, surrounded by hills, greenery and with views of the sea. The entire place is extremely well cared for; we went with our toddler and baby and it was perfectly spacious for all 4 of us, (though it also has a wonderful cosy cottage feel to it)! The beautiful garden and decking look out to the sea; the rooms are all on one level; the kitchen and bathroom were pristine; and the sofas and beds were extremely comfy (the bedrooms having the softest carpet we’ve ever felt)! The location was also perfect - it’s a 2 minute (if that) drive down to Whiting Bay beach and The Shore cafe which we loved; a 20 minute drive to/from Brodick (great for the castle and ferry connections) and generally easy to find. David and Catrina were also such friendly, informative and accommodating hosts! We couldn’t recommend their place more and will certainly be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ronan Cottage. Cute, clean, beautiful view, great communication. We also liked the “village feel” of Corrie, with friendly neighbors and the option to eat out at the hotel or Mara Restaurant (highly recommended) -both within easy walking distance. We were also able get fresh bread at Mara on Tuesday and Friday (and few other local food items). Good idea to get some groceries at Brodick before heading out to Corrie. The Co-op supermarket is within walking distance of the ferry. The bus stop close-by brought us to trail heads. We (three sisters) were very happy with our stay.

The accomodation was excellent..better than we expected. An older home with original features and large garden well maintained.

A great little find! The accomodation is in a great location, was spacious, clean and well equipped. Heather was extremely accommodating and allowed me to look after a family members dog in the apartment for a couple of hours whilst they were suddenly taken to hospital. My only slight criticism is the 9am checkout. A truly lovely stay in a lovely apartment. Would highly recommend!!

fantastic location , who needs Tav when you can sit and watch the waves! everything we needed while visiting family in the area, hope to be back at some point

Jill is a wonderful host. Such a lovely place and we felt very welcomed and cared for. Woodside is a very interesting house to stay in. The views are amazing and the house is spacious and very well equipped. Jill is very thoughtful host who goes the extra mile in providing really nice snacks. Cove is a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. We really didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much Jill!

This is the second time I’ve stayed in Louise’s lovely home and it won’t be the last! Ideally situated, stunning views and so well equipped.

The apartment is located beautifully right next to lake long so we enjoyed coffee and coffee and diner looking at the beautiful scenery. The apartment is spacious and provides everything you need. We’ve never checked in into an Airbnb as beautifully equipped and carefully stocked as this apartment. There was free drinks and even food and a very special welcome for us. Communication was always quick and easy, proactive and helpful. Would recommend the apartment anytime - we had the best time!

This is a lovely flat. It is compact but had absolutely everything we needed. We really appreciated all the extra touches - fresh flowers, milk, treats. Shereen is a great host and responsive to any queries. Tarbert itself is lovely.

We had a great stay at this flat – perfect for two people. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from the train station, the square, pubs, and a nice selection of restaurants. The flat itself is very clean, well-organised, and thoughtfully set up with everything you might need. It was a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Helensburgh and the surrounding area. While it’s perfectly ideal for a holiday, it may be less suited for working remotely due to the unreliable Wi-Fi. Would definitely recommend!
