We were blown away with how lovely the house was. Lovely comfortable linen and beds. Very clean house with large bathrooms and kitchen. Smelt clean and refreshing. The perfect place to relax and get away. Large house with plenty of different areas and nooks to hang out in.

really good value, typical kiwi bach from the 1970s. had everything you needed including a very well kitted out kitchen with a full size fridge freezer. the pictures accurately described the place. we loved the Woodburner. our dogs loved playing outside. great for big family trips as loads of space. thanks Jacqui 😀

We had such memorable stay at Mary’s. Easy to find and so close to the lake. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable if felt like home. Mary gave us some great tips for local attractions and left us extra special treats just to make us feel welcome! Could not recommend highly enough.

My dog Charlie and I stay here whenever we can while l’m working in the Taupo area and it always suits our needs. We are always made to feel welcome and the retro theme is awesome! Very close to the lake! 🐶😃👍

This home is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, close to Lake Taupo. The house is tidy and spacious with outdoor areas to relax in, ideal for mature families or quiet groups. The Ploughmans Restaurant is an easy 200 mtr walk through a small park at the end of the street, if you want an Olde English style pub to dine at, and there are several other restaurants, takeaways and a decent Woolworths supermarket close by.

This spot was perfect for my partner and I as we were taking part in a sporting event in the South Waikato. It had everything we needed, was perfectly comfortable and cosy and we were even greeted by a lovely friendly doggo :) The host was responsive and helpful and had even made sure the cottage was toasty and warm when we got there as we were arriving quite late in the evening. We're likely to do the same event next year so we'll probably be back to stay here then, if we can!

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Amazing lake side apartment - the pool was a game changer it was heated, the kids had multiple swims each day. Great location, tidy apartment and super comfy beds - we will be back :)

Apartment is in a good location, not far from city centre. Clean, lots of dishes and cutlery. Good water pressure in the shower. Comfortable beds. Heat pumps helped, as was very cold outside. Good garage, enough space for two SUVs. I would recommend this place for family stay.

Great location in the heart of Taupo town. Walkable to several restaurants and the lakefront, yet far enough away to be peaceful. Really enjoyed the sliding wall of windows in the living room (and bedroom) that allowed in natural light and views of the lake. Lovely balcony too. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking a meal. Common areas of building were clean, tidy and secure. Pool looked very nice, although we did not use it.

Kim’s place was a perfect location to walk to the lake, shops and restaurants. It was perfect for two couples with a bedroom and bathroom at each end. The apartment was roomy with a fantastic outdoor area. The kitchen was so well stocked with crockery, baking dishes appliances etc but needed tea and coffee - and a hairdryer!
