Our elegant, supremely comfortable, and private guesthouse is surrounded by a wonderful garden and 350 acres of woodland in the quiet of rural Vermont. We are 30 minutes from Brattleboro to the east, with its many shops and restaurants, and 12 minutes from the small town of Wilmington to our west, with some restaurants, shops, and a supermarket However, we always recommend bringing groceries, etc., for your first night and next morning. Walk into town to enjoy dining, shopping and trail hiking or take a short 15 minute drive to Mount Snow for a day of outdoor adventure. It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

Joel's place was impeccably clean and free of clutter. The shower pressure was excellent. The kitchen had everything you need ro cook, and it was a treat to have milk, eggs, english muffins and coffee available for breakfast as well as tea which you can enjoy sitting out on the porch. It is a short drive to Brattleboro and the surrounding area is exquisitely beautiful.

Quiet, cozy place to stay. Plenty of beds for our extended family to stay for the weekend. The lakeside location would be great for summer. We came in the fall, but it was lovely just to sit on the deck, have coffee, and enjoy the scenery. Kitchen is fully stocked. You’re less than 10 min to downtown Wilmington. Hope to stay again.

Taylor and Marla were EXTREMELY good at communicating and getting back in a timely manner. If you and your significant other are looking to get away, this is the place. It’s sublime.
