Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Rabun

Cute and cozy cottage! Host was exceptionally responsive which was greatly appreciated as we had a little difficulty finding the driveway. Would definitely return!. It is important to be aware that the wall between the bedrooms does not go all the way up, so the bedrooms are not private although this was not a huge issue for us.

We had a lovely stay in Lauren's home. You feel like you're living in the Brady Bunch house! Classic 1960s everything. The beds and seating were all very comfortable, and we enjoyed the abundant decks, the hammock, the kayak, the TV... the kitchen had everything you could want, and we appreciated the extra bag of ice and cans of sparkling water they left for us. We highly recommend it. If you're more noise-sensitive, we recommend the downstairs bedroom, which is insulated from the noisier/brighter open layout of the upstairs.

Jane’s house had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Highly recommend it and would stay again!

Our family was fortunate enough to stay at Marissa’s lovely Lake Escape to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Clemson. It was a beautiful way to enjoy being together. Our host was so kind and for that I am so thankful! The home and property are beautiful. The kitchen is way better equipped than any other place I’ve stayed (at least 10 different ones) which is awesome if you love to cook like me and are there cooking a holiday feast! Y’all, no place will feel perfect because no other place is your own home but this place comes close. Ildi’s responsiveness and kindness are the icing on the cake. We had a simple and pleasant experience here at the lake house and that’s all that we prayed for.

Wonderful long weekend family stay for 7 adults and 3 children. Quiet area of Lake Keowee. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, hot tub, ping pong table and the views. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for all. Would definitely book again.

Great location on the water. Close to grocery stores and restaurants as well. Large dock and deck with lots of chairs/tables. Large house with lots of space to have privacy when wanted, but also hang out together. Weather didn’t cooperate so we couldn’t take advantage of the kayaks, marina or hikes in the surrounding state parks. There was a binder listing local restaurants and the local waterfall hikes available.

House was stunning and very comfortable. The backyard is an oasis of tranquility. There was plenty of space for our adult family. We had dinner in the screened in porch every night and played games around the kitchen table. The lake water was really clean and had movement in it. The dock has lots of shade on the bottom and full sun on top. I can’t say enough about it. I highly recommend!!!

We rented Michael's house for a weekend kayaking trip on Lake Jocassee. The house is absolutely lovely and the location inside the state park was perfect. Michael is a very responsive, considerate host. I've already booked our next stay!

AMAZING! Christine’s place is an absolute gem and she is an absolutely amazing host. Everything was as planned and even more. Great lake community, really peaceful with a 2 min walk to beach area. House was perfect size and spotless. This is a great spot and Christine is super helpful and responsive. Also was surprised how short of a drive it was from all the things you could need, restaurants, stores, etc. and best of all real close to Clemson!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Such a beautiful home and place. We enjoyed the stay! The pool was by far our favorite just wish we had better weather to enjoy it further. Great customer service. We accidentally set the fire alarm off one night and she didn’t hesitate to message to make sure everything was okay.

We had a lovely stay at Rhonda's place. She was very responsive to our needs. Easy drive to Clemson University. Place was clean and tidy. Went for some walks and checked out the surroundings, beautiful area. Even met some neighbors who were very nice. Highly recommend staying at Rhonda's home.

What an amazing stay! The lake house is so unique, and there is so much to do without even having to leave. It has three separate levels with a room and bathroom on each. The upstairs has a jacuzzi tub overlooking the beautiful lake. The morning fog on the lake from the third floor is magical. The bottom floor is the perfect place to hang out with your entire family, as there is ping-pong, darts, pool, and board games. We had an absolute blast and would book again. I can't imagine how much fun it would be in the summer with warmer weather and the lake. Everything was spotless and immaculate, and the location was extremely safe and close to everything you needed. Host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and well-appointed rental on the Tuck! We enjoyed the peaceful solitude of the neighborhood which was very quiet. The rental is close to Sylva which made grocery runs, dining, and ice cream eating easy to do! Would definitely return again soon!

Loved staying here on my recent trip to North GA. The lake access was nice for me to bring my kayak and enjoy the peaceful water during my stay! I would highly recommend this home for your next stay in the North GA mountains!

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

We had a great stay at Kurt’s couples cottage. The place is as described, perfect for a couple, with serene atmosphere, lovely location just off the Taccoa river. We were not into fishing, so may not have enjoyed the stay to its fullest potential but we still loved the place regardless. We were given a tour of place upon arrival as the host happened to be around. There is a fireplace, a fire-pit, lots of firewood with starter, etc., in addition to seating, hammock, and so on. Lots of good stuff. Truly enjoyed the stay.

The place was very clean and well appointed with every necessity. But the best thing was the beautiful and tranquil lake and neighborhood. We were not expecting such gorgeous surroundings and were really impressed with the entire place. We would love to come back and enjoy it all again!

Jeff’s place was exactly as described and matched the pictures. We had more than enough space for our family of 8. We really enjoyed celebrating our 2 y/o bday here. So much so we all agreed we’d come back to celebrate other times together here! Thank you again

Kristy was very nice and responsive. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. The living room/patio scenery were stunning. We couldn’t get enough of the jacuzzi (tv outside was a plus). Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Morganton/Blue ridge area, whether you want a quiet getaway or a close spot to the lake/beach.
