Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Placid

This Adirondack camp was an absolute blast in an amazing location! The direct access to the lake made our vacation unforgettable, especially with the provided kayaks for exploring the beautiful lake and connecting waterways. Our dogs had the time of their lives running around the spacious yard, and the pizza stone was fantastic for making delicious homemade pizzas to enjoy in the front room while while enjoying the stunning views of the sun setting over the lake. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect lakefront retreat!

Robin is a wonderful host and her place was perfect for our family to stay and relax between skiing. Very close to Whiteface in a quiet part of Wilmington. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a beautiful spot! The home was impeccably decorated and clean, and the view of lake Champlain and Vermont beyond was unbeatable. We loved our time here and will definitely be back.

Had a great weekend, was a lovely area and was able to sleep everyone comfortably. Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet get away.

A quaint but spacious spot for individuals, families or a group. Beautifully maintained, and sits on a creek, which adds to the already serene atmosphere. Michaela was very helpful and responsive, and let me check in early. It was a really great place to stay

we had a nice stay and it was fun to swim with our dogs and use the kayaks, beautiful peaceful views from the upper deck! can see all the way to vermont and the beach close by was an easier way for kids to swim. the rock beach is not pebble or river stones, it is large boulders. some safety issues particularly because we had small children with us.. but would recommend adding vertical rungs to the railings of the staircase inside and porch. the entrance to the dock was broken and dangerously patched with a plank. the driveway was hazardous although he forewarned us of that, we just didn’t understand the degree of difficulty that it really was. he was very responsive and it was clean.

Patti was always very responsive. Her beautiful home had everything! Comfortable beds, lots of bath and beach towels. Kitchen fully stocked. Everything from bug spray to sunscreen. You name it she had it! We had a blast at the Clinton County Fair, Lake Placid and charted a fish boat for the day. Everything we wanted 😀. Not many restaurants around, but that’s ok. The pictures online don’t do this home justice. We will be back!!! The Celli Family -

We had an amazing time, the house was exactly as advertised, and the hosts were extremely responsive with questions/answers. We felt right at home, the house had everything needed for a cozy stay. Gorgeous view and we will be coming back 100%.

wonderful property and lots to do. even though we could not control the weather this property really has everything you need and the view of the lake was amazing. fishing on property was also great and was able to catch a few.

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!

This is the perfect spot for a family get away. Everyone felt right at home- even kids and dogs :). The weather when we were there was Adirondack "unsettled" but the house had great space for playing with the kids, rocking on the awesome porch swing and, even in the rain, a safe private road for walking. Bob was super responsive with communication and questions. The house is super close to Saranac, Placid, hikes and paddles- if it wasnt " the days of covid" we would have spent time wondering more for sure.

Really happy with our stay. I have rented several houses in the Adirondacks over the years. This was a great one. Quiet and peaceful with lots of charm and character. The wrap around porch was the perfect spot to relax. About a 15-20 walk down the rail trail to breweries and restaurants.

A 2 night stay at this lovely spot for three generations & and a dog. 85 year old happy on the main floor with comfy bedroom, easy shower entrance, and the screened porch. 20 year olds were on the water with the SUPs. Plenty of kitchen supplies and bath & beach towels which is so nice. We easily prepared our meals and enjoyed dining in the screened porch. Good beds & great AC meant we all slept well. While we did not visit Westport, we enjoyed Fort Ticonderoga and Mt. Defiance. Overall, this is a comfy and peaceful spot which can meet the needs of families of all ages. Kayleigh is extremely responsive and helpful! Thank you for a great stay!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. We didn’t have the best weather but we made the most of it. Susan’s home made it easy to be comfortable and have fun! We can’t wait to come back!

Wayne's place was nicer than the pictures conveyed in the listing. It was easy access for checking in. The furnishings are beautiful. I highly recommend having coffee on the front porch overlooking the lake in the morning. If you are looking for a classic Victorian stay in the Adirondacks, in the peaceful surrounds of Westport, look no further.

Just what we were looking for. A retreat to escape to, away from people, peaceful lake for lazy canoeing, BBQing while looking out at the mountains. the place isn't sterile so feels livable while not feeling cluttered. serious game night opportunities!

I absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. There is plenty of room and it’s the best location. It was perfect to be able to use the garage for our bikes we brought. The bike shop is also next store if we needed anything. I also loved how close the lake was. A hop skip and a jump to get there. The huge deck was fun to hang out with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back next year!

This is a beautiful, peaceful, and cozy mountain cabin with big windows, a fire place, and a lovely porch. We loved it. Moreover, it was within a short drive to Lake Placid, White Face Mountain, and numerous pristine hiking trails. We even got to Montreal for a quick peek, within two hours. We were lucky enough to have been blessed with a few inches of snow which decorated the pines, rivers and fields with winter magic. We had a great stay. Thank you John and Maria.

Very spacious, clean, comfortable. Bathrooms and amenities were perfect. This set my standards high for future ski cabins at this price range !

This home was absolutely incredible! It had such a warm, homey feel and was by far the most well-stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Every detail was thought of, making our stay seamless and comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the location was unbeatable—perfectly tucked away from town traffic yet still within walking distance to everything. The home was spotless, and the hosts were fantastic—responsive, welcoming, and truly top-notch. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be booking again for our annual trip!

Had a great stay. From start to finish, everything was great. The house was clean and cozy and had everything you could need. I had a few questions and the host responded almost immediately. It was the perfect location and within walking distance to Mirror Lake and Main St. You also have a wonderful view of the lake from the deck. I highly recommend staying here and I plan on staying here again.
