Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Placid

wonderful property and lots to do. even though we could not control the weather this property really has everything you need and the view of the lake was amazing. fishing on property was also great and was able to catch a few.

Lovely, clean place for a relaxing stay. Super comfy beds and plenty of amenities. We hope to stay there again some time!

This place is a gem!! Feels very homey yet big enough that you don’t feel right on top of everyone. Very peaceful, Beautiful views, comfy beds, wonderful kitchen and overall a great space especially for a bigger group of people. Close to Main Street and all the restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend!!

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

House was amazing, just as described. Easy to find. Accommodated our large group comfortably. Very clean. we will go back.

I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

We enjoyed the backyard and kayaks immensely! Great yard for kids and pup to play in. Close to White Face, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm. Beds were very comfortable and so many thoughtful amenities. Jennifer was in contact with us to make the rental perfect! We hope to go back in the fall or winter in the future.

This cozy, warm, inviting cabin on Rainbow Lake was the perfect vacation place for us - the only sounds we heard all week were loon calls, bird songs, and the cool clean water lapping against the dock. The cabin is nestled in a quiet cove and has the most lovely screened in porch - perfect place to read and sip my morning tea. The dock has a safe kayak launch which was most helpful in keeping us dry at the start and end of each long daily paddle. Kayaks are provided, so no need to bring your own - a nice plus so we didn't have to lug our boats around for a change! Everything about the cabin and the property is exactly how it is shown and described on the page here. While it is tucked in and feels far away - Saranac Lake is 15 minutes away for all your needs. We are hoping to make it an annual vacation destination! And if we are really lucky, perhaps twice a year! Thanks guys, for The Most blissful vacation we've ever experienced. Your place is paradise!

The cottage was as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures! My family and I loved our stay and will surely come back in the future. Michelle was a great host, quick to respond and very accommodating. We enjoyed the canoes, kayaks and SUPs provided in the boat house. Great new memories made!

This cottage was comfortable, homey, peaceful and my husband and I found it to be relaxing! It was clean and had all the amenities we needed and more in the pantry. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Since the cottage immediately overlooks the lake, the view was beautiful, as we watched a few boats and sailboats go by. We read, started a puzzle. We even swam in the lake and our water shoes helped to walk over the rocks. The restaurant at the Indian Bay Marina offered good food and drinks. The host was responsive and kind and when we arrived, we found delicious breakfast items in the frig. Even though the weather brought us fog, smog, rain, and some sunshine, our stay was truly enjoyable. We hope to visit again.

Adam was an incredible host. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay providing recommendations and quick answers to questions whenever needed. The home was immaculately clean when we arrived. This also had to be the most well equipped Airbnb I've ever stayed at. From the kitchen supplies, board games, vinyls, CDs, to the throughly detailed guidebook written by host, I was so beyond impressed! The most outstanding part of this stay is of course the location and the views this home provides. It provided the perfect private oasis for a stay to just unwind and unplug. I'd highly recommend this stay if your local for a tranquil, low-key retreat.

Lynn was very responsive to questions and very helpful to our situation. I appreciate that she let us bring a extra child last minute. She reached out through out the week just to see if we needed anything. Very nice camp on the lake. We will be back again Thanks !!

The house was perfect. The dock was a great perk. The neighbors were also very sweet!! Definitely recommend to anyone considering staying here!!!

Perfect home base for a peaceful ADK getaway. Lots to do in close proximity to cottage. The place was great. Very quiet. Coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great was to start every day, and a cold one by the fire was a great way to end each day. Would definitely stay again.

Well - what an exquisite and cozy little house in the woods. Joanne very obviously takes great pride in her house - every object is placed with care and purpose. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed with everything one could possibly need to cook full meals with ease. She even made us some lovely cookies upon arrival 🙂 Situated in a very private and quiet area close to Saranac Lake, it's a great base location to enjoy all the beauty of the Adirondacks in very cozy style.

Cairn Cabin was the perfect home base for our family of six to explore the Lake Placid area. The couches and beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the amenities we needed, and we had plenty of space to spread out. It might not be the best spot for a family with young children as the stairs are rather steep, but it worked perfectly for us and our teens.

Amazing spot. Probably the coolest Airbnb i've ever stayed in. Really nice cozy cabin. Perfect spot very close to downtown, but far away enough to feel like you are in nature and not be bothered by anyone else. I'd highly recommend the spot to anyone.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our dog immediately fell in love with the space both inside and out. It was great to have a place to stay with our dog where we didn't have to worry about others around (our dog is a bit reactive to other people), and we could easily go outside and immerse ourselves in quiet, peaceful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely have to consider staying again if we come back up to visit the Adirondacks in the future!

We had a wonderful time at 3 Birches. I hope to return! We enjoyed so many local hikes, as well as walking on the nearby trail and kayaking. The house was so comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet except for the birds. Thanks!

This was our fourth stay at Camp Casey and it’s always a joy to visit! Chad is a great host, the property is lovely, and the cabin is cozy and clean.

Fabulous three night stay- kayaking, fishing, walking and enjoying camp life. Great location on a beautiful lake. Well equipped kitchen and we ate all our meals in house. Great boathouse.

We had the most amazing ADK week - the home is just idyllic- sound of the river, surrounded by nature, ideal for family time, with a sublime view and space, great history, and all sorts of activities nearby. We can’t wait to return!
