Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Michigan Beach

We loved our stay at Blake’s on the Bluff! It was our first time in Michigan and we had a great time. This house was ideal for our family of 5 (3teenagers). The hot tub, fire pit and lookout access were awesome. It was a quick 4-5 minute drive to downtown St. Joe. We would definitely recommend to friends. Probably a bit more expensive than a hotel stay, but we like the comfort of a house. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at Kelly’s Lake Michigan home. Beautiful view from the back deck great for watching sunsets. We brought our pup and she had a blast lounging by the fire place. Kelly even provided dog waste bags and food and water bowls. Our 2 year old nephew was also excited to find children’s books and toys to play with. One of the best equipped Airbnb kitchens I have experienced in a while allowed us to good up family dinners without having to drive into town to eat. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Silver Lake!

Super cute decor! House is very clean! Super comfy beds. Had all the things we needed plus lots of other items that made the stay even better. Spices, condiments and ice. Cute fully stocked coffee and tea bar with flavor additions and creamer. Had several games. Nice desks in the bedrooms to get work done. Couch and chairs comfortable for watching movies.

This is such a beautiful home! Got the chance to unplug and feel right at home within the trees. Lots to do in the area too, went to the zoo, winery, and a brewery. Laurel was great and had a bunch of notes around the home that were super informative and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to slow things down and connect with nature.

The place is GORGEOUS. Extremely spacious & as a reader I really dug the window reading nook. We got to see some super cool moths when we arrived & their little eggs. The place had a nice outside seating area which was where we ate most meals & had our morning coffee. It was extremely serene.

This is the second time we stayed at Serenity Cottage, Lake Of The Woods It is an ideal location for us because we have family in Bremen, Bourbon, and Plymouth. The setting is beautiful. We love the big open family area. The kitchen is lovely and we usually cook most of our meals so it is stocked well enough to do this. The owner lives next-door and checked in to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely stay here again.

We always love our stays here! As usual, it was a beautiful, clean, thoughtfully-detailed stay and we can’t wait until we get to stay again. The local recommendations were so appreciated too- we enjoyed a new to us brewery thanks to the recs.

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

Such a comfortable, cute and cozy space! Very clean and had everyghing we needed for our long weekend stay! Easy check in and check out. Close to the beach where we spent all our time! Great hosts with a fantastic rental! Thank you!! Our stay was very enjoyable!!

Cute apartment, close to downtown Bridgman. Check in and out was very easy. Larry was communicative. I would definitely stay there again.

Really great place to stay. Everything that you need to make simple meal if you don’t want to eat out all the time. Restaurants close by that you can walk to. Place is clean.

We had an awesome long weekend at Morton's Retreat. We loved visiting Three Oaks and Sawyer, and going on a few short hikes nearby. We especially loved grabbing drinks at the Historian. The Airbnb is on a busy road, but there is a bike path that runs by it and it's a short walk to Luisa's Swedish bakery, which was excellent. The place was clean and even a bit larger than we expected. Great for a relaxing long weekend.

Our stay here was great! It was in the perfect location for us to take a short drive to neighboring towns. Downtown South Haven was a quick drive to get to with restaurants/bakeries/cafes/beach that were recommended by Amy! We felt right at home and it was an ideal pick for us to catch some sleep in between our adventure days! The place was clean and provided everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway! Having a responsive host ensuring we had everything we needed has me looking forward to coming back again!

Can’t beat this location in South Haven—literally steps away from shops and so close to the harbor and beach. The space itself was comfortable and the back deck a nice bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Saugatuck is a darling town and Robyn’s condo made it even more delightful. Wonderful neighborhood, very walkable to shops, restaurants and the water!

Kirstin was great! The place was gorgeous and the perfect location! I also felt extremely safe in the location we were at. The jacuzzi tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day of walking!! I’d definitely stay again!

This was the perfect place for us! It was only a few minutes drive from downtown. Could walk to the beach if you wanted. Kitchen had all the amenities. We didn't get to use the outdoor areas due to the time of year but would be so nice in another season. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Beaches are clean and sunsets are beautiful. It's only about a 30 minute or less drive to St. Josephs, Benton Harbor, Saugatuck, Holland. We did them all! Would definitely stay here again!

This was my third stay at The Loft and there’s a reason I keep coming back for more! The Loft is the perfect little place to stay for a South Haven trip, right in the heart of downtown you are within walking distance of literally any and everything you could possibly want on your trip and the Loft itself is SO cute and cozy.

Sharon’s place is just perfect! Very clean, peaceful area, lacked for nothing. You can’t go wrong here.

We enjoyed a comfortable and quiet stay. The extras like coffee and basics for cooking (spices, olive oil, etc) were much appreciated. Bed and couch were comfy and space was just as described.
