Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Mendota

We spent the weekend here and enjoyed the house, especially our time hanging out in the yard and on the back deck! The house was very clean and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We appreciated the blackout shades, comfortable beds, and relaxing vibe. And having a garage space was very convenient!

One of the things I really appreciated was how proactive Mark was in his communications. He reached out before, during and at the end of our stay. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, the well-stocked kitchen and grilling out on the patio. We also appreciated having a queen in each bedroom. Mark gave us some good recommendations for nearby restaurants. The house was conveniently located and the neighborhood felt very safe. Would definitely recommend!

This is a gem if you like to walk to local restaurant have access to all the stores you need and a need to feel surrounded by nature. The master bedroom was so wonderful with a screen door to leave open at night for fresh air, also a small balcony to view the water from bedroom. We left the outdoor summer lights on the deck that somehow reflected on the ceiling of the master bedroom at night it left a beautiful light pattern, magical place, to see turtles, birds and we saw a heron as we left the house, resting on the dock. Great location and amazing hosts! We had dinner on the grill with music it was simply perfect.- Thanks, again to our hosts! Worth it!

Wonderful stay in a quiet, relaxing space. From s’mores to pool to the great hiking spots nearby, we would happily visit again.

Really beautiful home and fantastic space. We needed a large place for our family for a wedding in Madison/Oregon and this was perfect! Could not have been better. Joane was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect place for a small family!

A friend and I stayed in this beautifully appointed apartment for 3 nights. This is a very well thought out, finely decorated space. The decor is attractive and high quality. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and there are many nice touches throughout the apartment such as robes, nice dishes and glass ware, toiletries and good security. The place is located centrally to Main Street for dining and shopping and within walking distance to most of the attractions of Galena. There are two main entrances to the hallways leading to the individual apartments. One is from Main Street and the other is from Bench St. I will say that while the Bench St entrance itself is very nice, the building is on a street that has seen better days. I hope the rest of the buildings will follow suit to improve their street appeal because the first impression made us wonder if we had the right address. We expected from the photos that this would be in a better kept area.

Wonderful place to stay in New Glarus. Walkable to all downtown has to offer including coffee, bakery, restaurants, shops, bars, and Fest Haus. Sarah was a super host, proactively reaching out with clear instructions and helpful local recommendations. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Place was more spacious than photos appear. My husband and I and two year old child stayed with a friend and we all had plenty of space to not be on top of each other. Great playground and public pool close by at Village Park for kids.

From her greeting you at the front door to making sure you have all that you need. Her place is perfect for a few days or even an extended stay! Located just off the highway and close to an amazing wine and restaurant - and minutes away from Beloit College! I recommend and look forward to my next stay

We enjoyed our weekend. We felt at home right away. It was a little tough to find at first. but we figured it out. The location is perfect to walk around. We never had to move the car once parked. We enjoyed watching movies in the comfortable recliners. We would definitely stay again!!

We were very happy with our stay. The location is perfect for wandering around this cute small town. We enjoyed the private space which, while it has all the modern conveniences needed, was like a step back in time. The space is perfect for two people. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again if I returned to Mineral Point. We especially thought the stone walls were cool and enjoyed the thoughtful addition of the polaroid camera for guest pictures. cute idea!

My girlfriends and I stayed at Christin's bnb for a girls weekend! The apartment was super clean, stylish, and was close to some yummy restaurants and cafe's. It was drivable to Madison which was nice to explore a bigger city but we also enjoyed the quaint small downtown area of Oregon. We went to a Mexican restaurant right down the street and it was super good and authentic. We also checked out a local cafe and it was really fun inside. 10/10 would recommend! :)

Kari has a wonderful home. The basement apartment we stayed in was perfect. It was private and had a great view. It was just as described and we didn’t want for anything. Kari even helped us get set up in advance, putting out a crib and age appropriate toys for our kiddo. Checking in was simple and smooth. I would absolutely stay here again the next time we are visiting.

We stayed here for a Wisconsin Badgers football game, and I highly recommend it! Otto was extremely communicative and even allowed us an early check-in and flexible check-out.

Everything was really nice, and the binder has some interesting stuff to check out.

Great people. We had a swift check-in and were welcomed by a beautiful space that provides absolute privacy. Could have been better if it was warm so you can enjoy the enormous space around the property. Can be suitable for retreats, intimate wedding venue.

The place was amazing in almost every way. The only one thing that was odd as it said it sleeps 4, but there was only one bed with sheets and blankets. On the couch bed, we had to contact housekeeping to get sheets and there were not any blankets for it. We did find extra pillows in the apartment though. Otherwise the place was wonderful, very cozy, clean, and comfortable. We loved it. It was a nice and quiet place to stay. The club amenities were awesome to have too.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked, and living room couches very comfortable. Overall very pleased with the accomodations.

We enjoyed the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings! There was more than enough of space for our family of 5. Our stay was very comfortable and our boys enjoyed the delicious breakfast options every morning. Daniel was very friendly and provided useful information about things to do and places to eat in the area. We would definitely stay there again!
