Wonderful place to stay for days. The house has everything you need and more. Love the surroundings.

Family of 2 adults and 2 children. Stayed 2 nights in June. Lovely, comfortable and homely inn. We used the 2-pool outdoor onsen both nights and slept really well! Kitchen was also adequately equipped. Well worth the price. Would definitely recommend and stay again 😊😊😊

This is a beautiful, peaceful house on the edge of fields and forest in the heart of eastern Hokkaido. Ikue was a wonderful host, with helpful tips and information, and she provided a friendly welcome. The house contained everything I needed for a four-night stay, including a washing machine, and there were plenty of plates, cutlery and bedding. The location is good for the peninsulas along the east coast, including activities such as whale-watching and walking. The house is on the edge of a village with a few shops and two petrol stations, but there are bigger towns within 10-15 minutes’ drive, and Ikue has lots of recommendations for things to see and do. A huge hypermarket (TOBU South Hills) is about 15 minutes away. The house would perhaps suit a solo traveller or a couple. It can accommodate others but might feel cramped with more than two people. Overall it was a fantastic stay and I would heartily recommend the house.
