Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Hopatcong

We had an unforgettable stay at this magical cabin! Izzy and Joe are amazing hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and since late checking was requested by them , they kindly offered a late checkout, which we truly appreciated and made our departure more relaxed. The cabin itself is even better than the photos—beautifully decorated, full of natural light, and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom and sunroom with lake views quickly became our favorite cozy spots. The private island with its dreamy daybed swing and breathtaking lake views felt like a hidden paradise, and our dog loved roaming leash-free on the island. Everything in the cabin is intuitively organized, with smart controls for lighting, shades, and TV—managed via an iPad that also contains a well-designed digital guide. We’ve stayed at many cabins over the years, and this one stands out in every way. We’re already planning to return and make this special place an annual tradition

From the beginning of our journey to the conclusion of our journey Livia’s hospitality and thoughtfulness of her space we were very impressed. Squeaky clean, well stocked kitchen (just about everything you’d need) comfortable beds and clear instructions for the household are its selling points. This is our first experience with Livia’s property and it won’t be our last. We’re planning on another visit later this year because of this experience. The ratings are real people! You won’t be disappointed.

From the time we arrived until the time we left we enjoyed Dallas's beatiful home. The home is clean, updated and very well appointed. The view of Long Pond was gorgeous and we enjoyed the stand up paddle boards and the kayaks, even saw turtles and exotic looking birds. The lilly pads were blooming bright yellow flowers...The surroundings were very peaceful and the landscaping was very well maintained and cared for! We enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit as well as the gas firplace as it was a bit chilly this weekend. We love to cook and found everything we needed plus more in the kitchen! The beds were comfortable and bed linens were fresh and clean! I loved the set up of the comfy couch with the view of the lake with cozy blankets to keep us warm! The giant dining table was wonderful to have for the 6 of us. The projector and the Sonos sound system was an added bonus; also great wiFi. Cannot say enough about this special AirBnB. Will definitely be back! Thank you Dallas!

I stayed here with 6 girls for my bachelorette trip and we had a great time. Location is great so much to do in the area and loved sitting out my the lake. Only thing I'd say is that the spillway is a little louder than I expected. I loved all the wildlife that we saw too.

Heather was very interactive with my stay and gives very clear instructions! The house is exactly as described and photoed! Fun activities to do at home and very clean! Plenty of space in the house with a great kitchen! Definitely would stay again and recommend to friends/family!

Definitely the best place to stay in Poconos mountain. The house is super clean. The location is great and the communication with Martin definitely super good. I will be back soon.

Aga couldn’t have been a more responsive and gracious host. The house is simply perfect - the outdoor areas are expansive and beautifully appointed. The kitchen and bathrooms are all renovated and beautifully maintained. We absolutely loved our stay. 10/10 and will definitely rent this lovely home again.

It was an incredible experience. My family, my two dogs, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our wonderful and attentive host, John, who helped us carry our bags and belongings to the cabin. The house is a cozy 1930s cottage, nestled on a hill in a green meadow, offering peaceful views in a pristine and tranquil setting overlooking the Delaware River which was directly in front of the house. The house features beautiful antique furniture, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. We especially liked that the house was dog-friendly. It was a haven for them! It was amazing to see marmots, deer, eagles, and birds of various species, which were all part of our enjoyment. We will definitely consider staying here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and be in touch with nature. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was located right on the lake. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The instructions were detailed and organized and the hosts were excellent communicators. The only issue was the 3rd bedroom which was more of a weight room with a twin bed. Otherwise the two bedrooms were great as was the rest of the home.

The house was comfortable and extremely well equipped. Though the weather was very cold, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the lake with all the windows. Eric was always available to answer any questions. The house has a game room on first floor with shuffleboard, pool table , darts and other games. I’d we inky had time.

Erin’s place is beautiful…perfect for a family retreat, with a stunning view of the lake and so much space to relax, cook, play, read, and socialize. She has stocked the house thoughtfully with games, books, cooking supplies, comfy gathering places…everything we needed to enjoy a graduation weekend with family. We’re grateful we had a chance to stay here and highly recommend it!

Timothy's cabin was so nice! It was clean, easy to find, and had great outdoor space. We felt right at home! We also appreciated that it was pet friendly as well. Would stay at his property again for sure.

We just stayed here for a 4-day Girls' Trip and had an amazing time! The house exceeded our expectations, with everything we could have possibly needed. Adam's instructions were clear, check in was super easy, and he has been super quick to respond to any questions. The house and surroundings were clean, quiet, and peaceful. If you come in the warm months be sure to ask for the kayaks and paddle boards to be left out! We had a blast! The house was also close to lots of trails for hiking and great restaurants. Overall, a 5/5 experience, would definitely recommend!

We loved this property. Having the hammock right by the water was so peaceful! The firepit also adds to the ambiance. Hosts left us smores materials which was a nice touch! This property was only minutes from hiking trails. The inside was so cozy and felt like you were right at home.

Christine’s place was amazing. We stood at the “Fika” cabin and it was great. It was super cozy and a well thought out space. It had plenty of room for me and my family. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials needed to a great time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a nice getaway with the family without sacrificing any amenities. I searched Airbnb for the most private, peaceful, prettiest cabin and I came across Kelsey and Ryan’s place. My stay was nothing less than perfect! Their place was spotless, even with being in the middle of the woods. Everything from the coziness of the interior to the fire pit, sauna, and hot tub this place is the ultimate relaxing getaway. I asked Kelsey and Ryan for recommendations for lunch and places to visit, they were super attentive. If you’re looking for a romantic weekend getaway, BOOK THIS CABIN
