Yesenia und ihr Sohn sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft herzlich von ihrem Sohn empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft entsprach genau den Fotos und der Beschreibung – alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war alles Nötige vorhanden. Die Lage ist zwar etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, dafür aber angenehm ruhig. Mit dem eigenen Auto war alles gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

The apartment was exactly what we searched for. We had an amazing view from the whirlpool and the outdoor space and could relax surrounded by nature. Jose is also super responsive :) Thanks for the stay!

Great place with a really convenient location. Very easy to walk to the town center. Comfortable beds, great water pressure and temperature. We didn’t end up using the pool but it was a nice option to have. The place had everything we needed for a short stay in La fortuna and the host was very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay in one of the deluxe bungalows. The outside porch area with jacuzzi was perfect and where we hung out most of the time when not exploring. Lots of birds visiting. The jacuzzi was especially great when it was pouring rain in the evenings, just had to make sure to turn it on before we left for the day so that it was nice and warm when we got back. The only thing to note is that you’re not likely to get a hot shower, water was lukewarm, but it was not a problem for us. We would come back to stay here if ever in the area again.

We stayed for 6 nights and truly enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions. It’s a very peaceful area but still a 5 minute walk to anything you need. The backyard pool was amazing for my kids. There is the Arenal Sanctuary Reserve a short walk past the house, we saw so many frogs and it’s a nice easy walk with breathtaking views. The house itself was clean and comfortable with just enough that you could still cook at home if you needed, we did most days. There are so many sodas and restaurants within walking distance as was the main grocery store. We fell in love with this area and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, the house extremely spacious and the beds are pretty comfortable…Maria was very nice and met us at the house which made the check-in process super smooth and easy, and the location was great…for the price we paid it’s a great value, would definitely recommend this place in La Fortuna

This property is a slice of heaven! We were only there for one night but got to experience peace and nature like never before. The view of monteverde cannot be beat- you can see clouds below you which is a sight to behold. The cottage is modern, clean with hot running water and everything you need to decompress. We spotted so many birds and wildlife including multiple toucans around the property- birds that were a struggle to find during some of our other tours lol. We tried one of the restaurants (Restauranr Kire) which was recommended by the host and that was a highlight of our trip as well. Don’t hesitate just book!

Karla is a wonderful host. She greeted us at her home and took us to our rental. She gave us a tour of the home and even left us fresh fruit & Coca-Colas. The home is beautiful but the backyard is the most magical part. Beautiful flowers and a beautiful seating area to hang out in. And the view of the river? Wow! Absolutely beautiful. My husband loved being able to walk down to the river to bird watch and my personal favorite was the tiny little frogs. It is an oasis! We had a very minor problem with some tiny ants, but Karla was quick to provide a solution. She is kind, responsive & all around the perfect host! She has also gone above & beyond to ensure that you feel safe with so many different safety measures. And I can’t forget to mention that the beds are so comfy! We all slept like babies! We love Karla and you will too!

This home is beautiful! Hidden right in the center of La Fortuna, with a great volcano view, and a walkable distance to many shops and restaurants. Everything was super clean when we checked in. Marvin even picked us up from the airport and offered very fairly priced transportation. He also gave great food and activity recommendations, and even arranged private tours for us. Definitely would stay at his place again!

Il y a des logements qui vous laissent une impression durable...celle que tout est parfait et que vous n'avez qu'à profiter de votre environnement : voilà le merveilleux petit écrin proposé par Yorlenny et Stefano. A la fois au calme dans un quartier résidentiel au cœur de la nature et à à peine 10 minutes à pieds du centre, vous avez une agréable petite maison, au cœur d'un jardin magnifique où viennent se croiser beaucoup d'espèces de merveilleux oiseaux, et avec en toile de fond le volcan Arenal. Vraiment une oasis de nature, ma famille et moi avons adoré ce lieu. L'accueil et la disponibilité de Yorlenny et Stefano font qu'on se sent entouré juste ce qu'il faut. Merci pour ce séjour magnifique !

Increíble lugar, disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estadía, tal cual aparece en las fotos. Lo único negqt6 es el camino que lleva al lugar es de lastre y está un poco deteriorado y por la época con la lluvia se complica un poco

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very walkable and easy to get a taxi as they are waiting to take you where you need to be. The home is great and peaceful. Toucans greeted us each morning at the balcony and sometimes in the evening. We did reach out to our host with a few questions and always got a quick response and even helped us with our check out as we were on tour. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Monteverde.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Monstera House. The home is exactly as described in the listing. The bathroom is so beautiful, the pool was spotless, and the rest of the house was amazingly clean. Sandra cooked us a Costa Rican breakfast every morning, which was such a sweet addition to our stay. We drove about 15 minutes every evening to get to La Fortuna for dinner, and about 30min-1hour for excursions in the morning near La Fortuna. Ubers are very accessible in the area, which we took often to dinner. Sandra was very helpful and responded very quickly. We can’t recommend this Airbnb enough!!

Cristian was amazing! He was very accommodating and helpful. He offered to do our laundry and even kept our bags a little longer, to allow us to do a morning excursion. It's a great place for 2 people.

Awesome place with beautiful views. Restaurant downstairs has excellent food and drinks.

Un hospedaje muy cálido y cómodo, con mucho acceso a diferentes restaurantes, súper market, farmacias etc… Muy provechoso y excelente trato del anfitrión
