Monthly Rentals in Laidley

We stayed 2 nights and we wished we had booked longer. The house is everything that was described and more. Dave and Jo were so responsive. The house was spotless with all the trimmings of a country get away. To arrive and have milk in the fridge was so lovely. Dave came and greeted us after we checked in to make sure everything was ok. He took us around to the animals and gave us a look at how Misty the farm dog herds the sheep. The fire pit and indoor fire were a treat, especially having an endless supply of firewood. The beds were extremely comfortable. The neighbour hood is so quiet and peaceful. The deck was a beautiful spot to sit in the afternoon and having morning coffee. Can't wait to return for another visit.

Staying at Robert's place was a uniquely wonderful experience. The place was immaculate inside and out. Robert provided many little extras and thoughtful touches to ensure his guests have a comfortable stay. The layout of the buildings meant that you feel very private. The highlight is the view of the extremely well maintained cactus garden and little private deck out the front. We only stayed one night but were left with a very memorable experience. Lovely sunset and sunrise walks up the hill behind with wildlife abounding. I even saw a platypus in a dam up the road. If you are ever passing by, this place is not to be missed. Excellent value for money and Robert is the perfect host, friendly, helpful but unobtrusive and respectful of privacy.

Thanks again Liz and Pete for an amazing stay. Your place was exactly as expected and described and I especially loved seeing the chooks and geese foraging on your peaceful and remote property. My wife and I are from Sydney where we are always on our phones, having limited phone reception was a breath of fresh air and really helps with unwinding and realising just how great country life is. With my family farm close by, your cabin was the perfect place for us to stay. We will definitely be back.
