House holiday rentals in La Strea

Beautiful house, super divided for three families, as there are three separate units and you can also retreat well. The disadvantage, however, is that the kitchens are not very large. We imagined the distance to the sea to be smaller, you can already walk there but it is (especially with children) not quite as close as expected. The communication with Giulia was great, she always responded quickly and kindly and was very helpful and accommodating. The apartments were very clean and the garden and Pool nice and well maintained.

We felt immediately at home at Nieves! The house was beautiful, spacious, cozy, quiet and clean. Nieves was always responsive and available when we had questions. We felt very much at home and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Nieves for sharing your home....and dogs! Sally

Angelo and Giorgio were brilliant hosts. The apartment was lovely. great inside space and an amazing outside space. The pool is lovely for dipping in and out of to cool off, the views are breathtaking and the outside grilling area is great. We used the outside space alot as it was a brilliant family space for lunchtimes and evening. They both gave us some great local recommendations for restaurants. Castro is around 15 to 20mins walk away and it's great for some lovely local restaurants. We would love to come back.

We spent almost 3 weeks in this beautiful house and gardens and loved every single minute of it. The property was very comfortable and clearly loved and cherished by the hosts who have furnished it beautifully. The large outside space was perfect for dining out on warm evenings. We woke to birdsong each morning and felt completely relaxed. It’s the perfect position for visiting busy towns like Ostuni, Lecce, Otranto etc and we were 30 minutes from the lovely beaches of Porto Cesareo. Our stay was perfectly enhanced by the kind and gracious hosts. Antonio and Mira, who are the most wonderful people and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They provided us with lots of local information and were very responsive to our questions. We can’t thank them enough.

What can I say about Andrea's accommodation, it is identical to the photos with a lot of elegance and Italian charm. Andrea and his wife will make you feel at home, they are very attentive to you and it's really rare these days. We were able to eat in very good places following the recommendations and we were able to do an activity with a beautiful sunset thanks to Andrea. We are grateful to him for having been able to give us moments so that our holidays can take place as best as possible. I can only recommend this place!!

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Grandi Fiori. The location is ideal: a stone's throw from the charming village of Oria, in the heart of Puglia, a perfect starting point for exploring the region. The villa is really superb: spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped, which allowed us to cook with pleasure during our stay. Several terraces surround the house, perfect for enjoying the sun or shade at any time of the day. The garden, entirely surrounded by hedges, offered us total privacy and absolute tranquility – a true haven of peace. Thank you to Ingrid and Piet for your warm welcome. It was a pleasure to meeting you. Villa Grandi Fiori is undoubtedly a place where you will already be dreaming of returning!

Gabriella's place was absolutely stunning! The photos can't do the beautiful grounds and landscape justice. Both Gabriella and Clara were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, and their local suggestions for beaches, sights and restaurants were great. Both ourselves and our friends (who were staying at one of the other villas on the property) were travelling with infants, and found the layout and amenities (they tracked down a second set of cribs/high chairs for us) great for children. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Salento.

The place was super clean and modern. If you are looking for privacy, this is the place to be. The property is very rural, so a rental car is recommended for various activities!! Gabriele was a super helpful and friendly host. The highlight was the private pool with huge garden and complete privacy. We would always come back here. Thanks to Gabriele and his family.

Looking for an extraordinary accommodation in the Specchia area? Then you have to put your suitcases in the Pajara de la Urpa!! A unique, enchanting, calm, relaxing, green place where you feel so good in the middle of the birdsong. Rita and Vicky, the hosts, are keen to introduce their beautiful home, they are very attentive to us. Present on our arrival with a bottle in the fridge and present at the departure for a parting gift (typical pastries). A central point in Salento to discover Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli, without forgetting these wild coves and the beautiful beaches of the South. The house is at the border of Castro on the litorale, surrounded by olive trees. It is very private and spacious. The view is amazing. The sea and restaurants are within walking distance. The house has everything and is extremely spacious, we really liked it. Ornella and her husband are very kind and very helpful, they even picked us up from the supermarket. We would definetly recommend it!

Maria Lucia was an attentive, present and very kind host. The apartment had just been renovated and we were the first to stay. Spacious, clean and cozy. The patio is an added value, beautiful for summer evenings. The location is strategic, convenient to downtown, beaches and markets. Quiet area and very convenient to reach. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Andrea’s place! It’s so nicely decorated, clean and has a beautiful outdoor space. We loved the attention to detail like the beautiful tiles throughout the place and that we had everything we needed from a great iron to laundry detergent. We would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

Very nice, clean, well-equipped apartment with a mega-large garden area. Very nice hosts who welcomed and said goodbye to us with gifts, Giuseppe was always available & everything worked out well. We'll be back!

This is the best equipped accommodation we have ever stayed in! The welcome was excellent, the hosts regularly advised us on places and activities to make the most of our vacation. The apartment is very nice, perfectly decorated, clean, very warm, we really lacked nothing! The terrace is very pleasant when the weather is nice to relax and have an aperitif. The accommodation is perfectly located for visiting the surrounding cities and the historic center of Grottaglie is very cute for walking around and discovering the ceramic shops.

We stayed in Mary’s home for 3 weeks. It may be our favorite vacation rental ever! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals….there’s even a wood burning fireplace in the kitchen (with wood provided)! Her artistic personality shows throughout; the restoration, her taste in decorating, the artwork on every wall. We had lunches on the beautiful rooftop terrace most days ( stairs are steep, of course…it’s on the roof). Check in was simple and Mary responded to questions quickly. Nardo is a beautiful quiet town, with great restaurants serving Salento cuisine. We were sad to leave, but maybe we’ll be back! Thank you, Mary, for sharing your home. Judith and Stephen

The place is very nice and cozy, with a private entrance area and wonderful roof terrace! The Airbnb is located in the middle of the town, there is also free parking closeby. We loved the local goodies and the recommendation booklet. Would totally recommend!

There were two of us staying at the place for six nights and more than satisfied. May is before the season, so we were alone in the entire street. The terrace is a dream, but visible to the neighbors. Because we were alone, this was nothing difficult. We highly recommend the apartment, Fernando was a great host and was always easily accessible and friendly!

Great place to unwind with the pool available for use and the nearby beaches a short walk or drive away. The listing is as described with everything you need. Only downside was a lot of the nearby restaurants and shops were closed due to the time of year we visited. Suspect during the summer months this would not be the case.

Words cannot describe how immensely special and beautiful this home is. Even the walls have soul! Every bedroom is in its own floor, which felt very private. The home is decorated beyond beautifully and is within walking distance of everything on the island, including amazing restaurants. What words cannot explain is how after staying at many Airbnb’s throughout our travels, the host is BEYOND amazing. She provided customized recommendations for everything on the island based on her experiences (the home is a beautifully restored family home)…. Places that avoided the typical tourist traps. She made sure we were absolutely comfortable, going out of her way at every opportunity. If her parking space is free, without a doubt, I recommend getting it as parking is very limited on the island. The view is literally the best in all of Gallipoli. Literally. Enjoyed so many gorgeous sunsets on 5 different terraces!!!!! Of course, the top one with a 360 degree view could not be beat!!!

We relaxed the minute we walked down the stairs to the house and saw the beautiful view over the Adriatic. Our group of two couples loved the many outdoor areas, the comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Great to have a BBQ too. Vincenzo and Giulia were fantastic hosts and were very helpful. Castro is a lovely town on the south coast and we definitely recommend Casa Le Radici.

Our stay at Anna Lisa's house was wonderful! The apartment is charming, well-equipped and very well located, ideal for exploring southern Puglia. Communication was always easy and kind, and all instructions were clear from the beginning. We really enjoyed the trip and felt at home. I highly recommend and would come back for sure!
