Holiday rentals with lake access in La Salvetat-sur-Agout

This beautiful cottage, once home to the Abbot and built in 1732, is in the middle of the pristine village of Soreze. It is exactly as pictured in the photos with a large lawn and garden, gated for privacy. We had perfect weather and spent many hours reading and eating meals on the patio. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely. Our hosts, who live nearby, were very helpful and welcoming. Staying at the “home of the Abbot” was a unique and unforgettable experience. We went from tolerating to loving and now missing that tower bells on the half hours. We hope to return soon!

I had a great stay at Jean Pierre and Catou's. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, very quiet although it is in the city, located close to amenities and access to tourist activities in the area is easy. It has always been easy to park on the street. The air conditioning and terrace provide additional comfort. All in all, we could stay there for a long time. Thank you both for welcoming me with my dog and for your availability and kindness!

We were warmly welcomed by Gaelle. The apartment is beautifully furnished with a very comfortable sofa, a large kitchen with everything you need and not to forget, the large terrace. We were thrilled and recommend it to everyone. We enjoyed the time in this wonderful accommodation.

Very good stay in Anthony's accommodation. Perfectly as advertised. The house was clean and tastefully decorated, well equipped and ideally located. We had a nice stay at Jo's house. Our daughter had no shortage of toys and loved the slide in the garden! The walk to the lake is beautiful. The surroundings are super quiet. Jo has a lot of useful information available and responds quickly to messages!

We had a wonderful time. The property is a private, peaceful haven within walking distance or a short drive from the centre of beautiful Albi. La petite tannerie is a well-planned space and we had everything we needed. Jeanne and Christophe were on hand quickly albeit after check-in we had no questions or issues. The pool, patio and large garden area are lovely and made the experience so special. We hope to return and will recommend the property and city to friends in the UK who may not know Albi.

Very nice cottage in which everything is there to spend an excellent vacation or weekend. Beautiful environment, located in a quiet area, close to the lake and the village center. Damien and Flora are really nice. Special mention: to the proposal to enjoy the products they grow and shape. Great approach. In short, a little corner of paradise!

very nice private apartment. Nothing is missing. We were completely self-sufficient. Catherine is a lovely person who very kindly welcomed us with her husband. I would recommend it in a second.

establishment perfectly matching our expectations well-equipped, very clean I think there should be at least one chair in each room to put clothes on. and a toaster in the kitchen Otherwise, everything was perfect, welcome and accommodation. The plus: the garage to store our bikes easily was great

We have just come home from a fantastic stay in Carcassonne. Communication with Christine was excellent, she let us check in early which really helped after an early morning flight. The apartment is gorgeous, exactly like the pictures but huge! Just a 15 minute walk to the medieval city and round the corner from the square, the location was perfect too Overall a really amazing stay, I would definitely recommend! Thank you Christine! Ps. the 500 piece jigsaw does have all its pieces it is just extremely hard

Passing through the region, we (a couple) spent a night in Gerard's accommodation. Very nice and clean accommodation, the freshness in the bedroom was very appreciable! Its great plus, its location in the small village of Bages. What a beautiful discovery. An address to remember and come back to!

Communication with Corinne via the app is very fluid. Her place is functional, with air conditioning, appreciated during these summer heat. The little courtyard is lovely.

Patrick’s apt. is conveniently located to go to visit the cathedral, restaurants/cafe, the famous market, view of the canal which is across the street. The thing I liked most is how bright and airy it is, lots of big windows. It felt homey. Also, the gare SNCF is walking distance if you want to sit it nearby towns. Patrick is a wonderful host, quick to respond to any questions or issues. I will stay in his apt. again next time I visit Narbonne. Thank you, Patrick!

The gite is located on the beautiful Agout river with great views of the river and two former mills. The whole area is steeped in history and there is plenty to do and see nearby including the rocks at Sidobre, Castres and Burlats. The location is so picturesque, tranquil and natural with the sound of the river ever present. The trout fishing is apparently excellent in season. There is a good walk nearby to Brassac through the woods along the river. The gite is very clean and comfortable and was perfect for a couple. The hosts Gaby and Jean-Pierre are very lovely people and really care about their environment and guests. Highly recommended.

we have my friends and I enjoyed the very clean and functional accommodation, our host Severinne welcomed us very warmly and informed us about the activities nearby. I highly recommend this host as well as the listing.

The house had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We felt very welcome there, with excellent stocks of essential supplies. We would not hesitate to book another stay there.

Great find, loved our stay with the family for a few days. Situated in very small village with beautiful surroundings. House was charming and came with all amenities. Sébastien was responsive and very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Guillaume’s beautiful home. It is an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by nature. My son loved exploring the grounds together and there were games also for extra entertainment. The house itself is stunning also, especially the living space, which is very tastefully decorated with a lovely huge window to look out on the trees. Guillaume is an excellent host and was always very responsive. The first thing my son said when we arrived was ‘Can we just not leave here?’ That says it all 😀

We have just stayed at the gite for a month, Melanie and Colin were very responsive and a lovely couple, the gite was amazing, very comfortable and felt like home which was a good thing as we were a little unlucky with the weather. We explored the local area with walking and mountaining biking, and it was great to come back to the gite and have the hot tub....we will definitely return 😀
