Holiday rentals with lake access in La Salvetat-sur-Agout

This beautiful cottage, once home to the Abbot and built in 1732, is in the middle of the pristine village of Soreze. It is exactly as pictured in the photos with a large lawn and garden, gated for privacy. We had perfect weather and spent many hours reading and eating meals on the patio. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely. Our hosts, who live nearby, were very helpful and welcoming. Staying at the “home of the Abbot” was a unique and unforgettable experience. We went from tolerating to loving and now missing that tower bells on the half hours. We hope to return soon!

J'ai passé un excellent séjour chez Jean Pierre et Catou. Le logement est propre, bien équipé, très calme bien qu'il soit en ville, situé à proximité des commodités et l'accès aux activités touristiques du secteur est facile. Il a toujours été facile pour stationner dans la rue. La climatisation et la terrasse apportent un confort supplémentaire. Le tout fait qu'on pourrait y rester longtemps. Merci à vous deux pour m'avoir accueillie avec mon chien et pour votre disponibilité et votre gentillesse !

Wir wurden herzlich von Gaelle empfangen. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet mit einem sehr bequemen Sofa, einer großen Küche mit allem was man braucht und nicht zu vergessen, die große Terrasse. Wir waren begeistert und empfehlen sie jedem weiter. Wir haben die Zeit in dieser herrlichen Unterkunft sehr genossen.

Très bon séjour dans le logement de Anthony. Parfaitement conforme à l’annonce. La maison etait propre et décorée avec goût, de plus bien équipé et idéalement située. Au calme, tres paisible, avec pleins de randonnées à faire à proximité. Anthony etait très réactif a nos demandes et tres convivial . Je recommande sans hésiter ! Cédric

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in Jo's huis. Ons dochtertje kwam qua speelgoed niks tekort en vond de glijbqqn in de tuin fantastisch! De wandeling naar het meer is prachtig. De omgeving is super rustig. Jo heeft veel nuttige informatie beschikbaar en reageert snel op berichten!

We had a wonderful time. The property is a private, peaceful haven within walking distance or a short drive from the centre of beautiful Albi. La petite tannerie is a well-planned space and we had everything we needed. Jeanne and Christophe were on hand quickly albeit after check-in we had no questions or issues. The pool, patio and large garden area are lovely and made the experience so special. We hope to return and will recommend the property and city to friends in the UK who may not know Albi.

Gîte très agréable dans lequel tout y est pour passer d'excellentes vacances ou week-end. Bel environnement, situé au calme, proche du Lac et du centre village. Damien et Flora sont vraiment sympathiques. Mention spéciale : à la proposition de profiter des produits qu'ils cultivent et façonnent. Belle démarche. Pour résumé, un coin de paradis !

Catherine et Christophe son très accueillants et d’une grande gentillesse . Toujours disponibles et prévenants. Nous on fait des recommandations sur les visites. Logements très propre et bien équipé.

We have just come home from a fantastic stay in Carcassonne. Communication with Christine was excellent, she let us check in early which really helped after an early morning flight. The apartment is gorgeous, exactly like the pictures but huge! Just a 15 minute walk to the medieval city and round the corner from the square, the location was perfect too Overall a really amazing stay, I would definitely recommend! Thank you Christine! Ps. the 500 piece jigsaw does have all its pieces it is just extremely hard

De passage dans la region, nous (un couple) avons passé une nuit dans le logement de Gérard. Logement très agréable et propre, la fraicheur dans la chambre à coucher était fort appréciable! Son grand plus, sa situation dans le petit village de Bages. Quelle belle découverte. Adresse à retenir et à y revenir!

Hôte très agréable, très bon accueil. Nous avons passé un séjour paisible dans le logement d’Alysson dont la situation est idéal pour explorer les environs. Logement correspondant à sa description et impeccable 👌. Bonne continuation à Alysson !

La communication avec Corinne via l'application est très fluide. Son logement est fonctionnel, avec la clim, appréciable durant ces chaleurs estivales. La petite cours est très agréable.

Patrick’s apt. is conveniently located to go to visit the cathedral, restaurants/cafe, the famous market, view of the canal which is across the street. The thing I liked most is how bright and airy it is, lots of big windows. It felt homey. Also, the gare SNCF is walking distance if you want to sit it nearby towns. Patrick is a wonderful host, quick to respond to any questions or issues. I will stay in his apt. again next time I visit Narbonne. Thank you, Patrick!

The gite is located on the beautiful Agout river with great views of the river and two former mills. The whole area is steeped in history and there is plenty to do and see nearby including the rocks at Sidobre, Castres and Burlats. The location is so picturesque, tranquil and natural with the sound of the river ever present. The trout fishing is apparently excellent in season. There is a good walk nearby to Brassac through the woods along the river. The gite is very clean and comfortable and was perfect for a couple. The hosts Gaby and Jean-Pierre are very lovely people and really care about their environment and guests. Highly recommended.

The house had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We felt very welcome there, with excellent stocks of essential supplies. We would not hesitate to book another stay there.

Great find, loved our stay with the family for a few days. Situated in very small village with beautiful surroundings. House was charming and came with all amenities. Sébastien was responsive and very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Guillaume’s beautiful home. It is an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by nature. My son loved exploring the grounds together and there were games also for extra entertainment. The house itself is stunning also, especially the living space, which is very tastefully decorated with a lovely huge window to look out on the trees. Guillaume is an excellent host and was always very responsive. The first thing my son said when we arrived was ‘Can we just not leave here?’ That says it all 😀

We have just stayed at the gite for a month, Melanie and Colin were very responsive and a lovely couple, the gite was amazing, very comfortable and felt like home which was a good thing as we were a little unlucky with the weather. We explored the local area with walking and mountaining biking, and it was great to come back to the gite and have the hot tub....we will definitely return 😀
