I had a wonderful stay with Mar and Luis in Puerto Escondido. They were incredibly communicative and proactive — always letting me know about weather or local events that might affect plans, which was so helpful. Their recommendations for restaurants and tours were all local gems and much better than anything I found on social media. The space itself is beautiful and it's perfect for travelers who want something a bit more grounded and off the beaten path. I stayed several nights, and it was easy to get the hang of taxis and the bus a few times in the area. I also did surfing lessons with Luis, who was a great coach — patient, clear, and fun to learn with. And by Mar’s warm invitation, I got to spend time with the animals on the property, like the goats and the dogs, which added something really special to the stay. They’re both very down-to-earth hosts, deeply connected to the community, and I felt really well taken care of the entire time. Would absolutely recommend.

Although Waze and Maps didn't detect the location, Luis sent someone on a motorcycle to guide us to the Airbnb. I had spoken to him the day before to be able to check in earlier and he told me that as soon as I was ready he would contact me to check in. The road was closed and we no longer arrived early, but flexibility and kindness were present. It is very important that you go with an off-road vehicle as the ad says. The instructions are very clear! We traveled with 2 dogs and they were very happy in the accommodation. It's worth it to release turtles on the nearby beach, it's in the afternoons. The kitchen is super-equipped and the staff is always attentive to the needs of the guests.

We really liked it, it was clean, very comfortable, they were aware of our doubts. It is far from the center and that allows you to enjoy tranquility, however that same makes you have to move by transport (if you do not take a car) to get to the beach

The truth was perfect, I felt at home, it is a very quiet area, the house is very tidy, comfortable and pleasant, there is everything you need to not have to go out and above all I must highlight Francisco's attention who was always on the lookout for us, excellent person... I would book again. I highly recommend it.
