Isabelle and Alain are the most wonderful, warm-hearted hosts you could wish for—so lovely and genuinely thoughtful. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home and incredibly welcomed. Their home in the beautiful Normandy region is a true gem. The space is filled with charm, comfort, and everything you could possibly need (and more!). From the soft cushions to the perfectly equipped kitchen and the peaceful backyard, every detail is cared for with love and intention. Normandy itself is breathtaking—a region full of history, natural beauty, and a calm that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy the moment. I found myself wishing I could spend every quiet Saturday morning there, just soaking in the peace. I super highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a magical getaway. Truly felt the experience of the French Norman Countryside staying at this cottage.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful surroundings! Everything you need is in this cottage! Felt right at home! Would definitely recommend if travelling in Normandy!

Paradise. In fact, this one word indicates how we spent our time with Vincent and Margot and how we felt. You can read all the other findings in the other reviews, such as the wonderful beds. We had good weather most days so we could spend a lot of time outside. There is a lot to see, places like Lisieux, Bayeux and Honfleur. The coast of the invasion was impressive all around D-Day this year. We enjoyed the castles and the beautiful gardens where everything colored and smelled. Lovely to stay for part of the day around the house, a paradise of trees (the fragrant lime!), plants and roses. And always the most beautiful bird concerts. We also enjoyed our daily jars of ping-pong. Dear Margot and Vincent, thank you for a week of happiness, health and amitié. We wish you many more years of family life in this unique spot of earth in Normandy.
