A lovely, peaceful cottage ; clean, cozy, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The host was helpful and responsive, with thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

This garden cottage was straight out of a romantic fairytale! The gorgeous garden surrounding the cottage and the view of the water and misty rolling hills framed perfectly by a stone wall and ivy were just breathtaking (especially while sitting in the wood fire heated hot tub). The cottage itself was incredibly cozy. We had nearly gotten stranded on Islay with car issues and we weren’t even sure we’d get to enjoy this stop on our holiday. By the time we arrived, we were completely exhausted from the chaos of the previous 24 hours so this relaxing and welcoming space was exactly what we needed to decompress. ☺️ The cottage was well equipped and very clean! We had everything we needed and then some. Caroline was an exceptional host. She was remarkably responsive and lovely to interact with both prior to our stay (when we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it) and during our stay! Anyone with the opportunity to stay here, should absolutely do it! Thank you for everything, Caroline!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Laura gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was friendly and available throughout our visit. The cottage was the perfect size for two, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, and set in a peaceful, tranquil location. The hot tub was a real highlight – private, relaxing, and offering beautiful views. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

We had an amazing couple of days in this awesome Airbnb. Michelle gave us a warm welcome, when we arrived. The house is a perfect place to explore the Isle of Skye and relax in the hut tub in the evening and enjoy the sea view. We would have wished to stay longer and will definitely be back. One hundred percent recommended.

It was a beautiful area, and the place itself was lovely, very easily made our home for the time of our stay, the utilities were easy to use and it was overall a very comfortable stay

This was a great find. Katrina is one of the most responsive and informative hosts I have had on Airbnb. Being from out of the country we had several questions and she answered so quickly. There were some hiking trails near by which was a nice surprise, and Katrina recommended Gloagburn which was a hidden gem! Would recommend this to anyone looking to be off the beaten path but still have plenty to do!

The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Betty’s Lookout! Incredible place, with stunning views. Spent my 30th birthday here, and I couldn’t have imagined a better place. The only thing was the hot tub could have been a little bit hotter, but was still nice to soak in for a while!

Beautiful cottage. Felt out of the way but was close to road into portree. Very warm building, bathroom and rooms superb. Would highly recommend and revisit. Visiting sheep was an added bonus!

Located in a very peaceful and private village in Ord. The house is extremely cosy and clean giving all of us a home feeling rather than a place just for temporary stay. Love the homemade baked scones from the host too!

Beautifully presented cottage with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a 7 mile journey on a single track road from Gairloch but it’s worth the journey.

The Weather's cottage is a beautiful nest to escape to in the Highlands. There are beautiful walks around the peninsula but it is very well equipped for rainy days as well with board games and books galore. It is also well stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials etc I would love to go back.

Stephanie didn't promise too much. A lovely apartment: so cosy and comfy. Everything fits together. The furnishment is in the same color as the laundry, the plates fit to the cups. Incredible. From the bed you have also a view to the green as from the kitchen table. There is also a lovely sofa next to the oven, where you can sit by a fire after a long day. You have the opportunity to cook on a gas stove, there is a big fridge even with a freezer for tour own food, also a kettle and a toast machine is available. The bed is comfy, and you can sleep wonderful there, as it is peaceful and quiet. The dog is friendly and happy to cuddle and play. There are wine and jam to buy (selfmade) for a fair price and the appartment is very very clean. Kind of a fairy apartment. You have a view into the green (fits to the inside). Your car parked can enjoy the sea view, and no wishes were open. At least for us. We enjoyed it really and want to come back one day.

We spent a perfect few days at the Garden Cottage, and only wish we could have stayed longer! It was everything we hoped for while visiting the Highlands and exploring the area. The view is just spectacular. It was so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed hiking to the Hill Bothy on the trail behind the house, walking and seeing the farm animals, waking up to the sounds of birds, and sitting by the fireplace in the evening watching the clouds go by and the sunset late into the night. Kate made everything seamless and easy to feel right at home in. Cannot recommend enough and hope to be back soon!

Wow what a wonderful few days we spent at Eileen’s lovely cottage in the woods. The very large deck, in amongst the trees, made it feel like we were in a tree house! So peaceful and a great place to sit back and enjoy the wildlife. The surrounding area, in particular the beach, is stunning. We were extremely lucky with the weather so we were able to take full advantage. Hopefully we will be back soon

Our family had such a lovely stay at the Stone House! Emma and Andrew were great hosts and we loved meeting Monty the sheepdog. The views were incredible from the house and our girls loved walking down the paths to dinner by the loch. The house was pristine inside and out. A beautiful spot!

My daughter traveled with me to explore the Highlands. After reading the reviews I thought the Marble Cottage could be a good fit for our travels. It was exactly as described. No surprises. Spotless! Anne and Donald were excellent hosts. The apartment is attached to the hosts' home but you have as much privacy as you want. They are both very warm and welcoming, and they spent time with us and made us aware of some less-well-known places on Skye. Our trip was enhanced by their recommendations. My only regret is that we could not spend more time in Skye. Broadford is a great place to launch explorations of the island, and retreat to a quiet place without leaving the island. The town also has a nice CoOp grocery store and several good restaurants. Reminder that the cottage is partially obscured from the road by a wooden shop closer to the highway, so we drove past it initially but quickly re-traced our steps and found the correct entrance. Just a wonderful experience overall.

David & Aisling's place was beautiful beyond words. The location was perfect – short driving distance to Portree and it had everything we need for a very comfortable, warm stay. View from the living area was the best and perfect for winding down after a day out. Would definitely want to come back again if I can!

The Shack is a very comfortable, well appointed abode in a beautiful quiet area close to Portree. Views from the bedroom are beautiful; looking over Loch Portree toward Old Man of Storr. Barbara had placed two comfy chairs in the bedroom from which one can enjoy the view. The listing does indicate a freezer but the fridge doesn’t have a freezer. If you’re there more than a couple of nights you need to pack dishwashing tabs, teabags etc as supplies seem designed for one or two days only. Cake in arrival was a nice touch.

We absolutely loved our cottage! Super comfortable and very clean. It is located in a calm place, but very close to Portree by car. Sarah was always available to help and we truly appreciate all the tips given, it was great

Our stay at Tin House was memorable! It was our first visit to Scotland and we chose Isle of Skye as our prime destination. Being an architect and arts administrator from New York, we searched the Airbnb map for a remote, seaside farm setting and found Tin House. The house and setting were even more beautiful than advertised! The rural architecture (inside and out), while modern, felt right in the gentle slope to the sea surrounded by sheep. Although we loved exploring and hiking the island, we were equally content to stay in place, the Tin House felt like home. We never tired of the constantly changing views and were in awe of the natural beauty of the sea, the cliffs across the loch and distant views to the Outer Herbrides Islands.

This was one of the best airbnbs I have stayed in. It was well accommodated, spacious, peaceful, and just beautiful. We had a full house at this stay and never felt cramped. I loved that each room had its own full bathroom. The kitchen was beautiful and I wish I had it in my own home. We were in walking distance to a coffee shop, grocery store, gift shop and the claymore restaurant/shellfish shack. The shellfish shack was a highlight for us. If you can it's a must eat. The windows in the bedroom has mechanical blinds that blocked out all the light, which if you visit during the spring/summer and like to sleep in darkness it's a must. The views from the living room and bedrooms were gorgeous. We caught beautiful sunsets. I would definitely stay here again and again if I could. I look forward to visiting again one day.
