Beachfront holiday rentals in KwaZulu-Natal

This is an excellent house in an excellent location of the northern KZN coast. Beach is a small stroll away and the house is designed in a very functional way, with a big common area but very private bedrooms. One of my best finds on AirBnB.

Wow! What a wonderful, relaxing home to holiday in! The photos don’t do it justice, it is even more stunning in person. We loved every moment of our stay, especially the direct access to the beach. Lindiwe was so helpful too. Thank you Debbie, we can’t wait to book our next trip!

Our stay was comfortable and we loved that we were just a short walk from the beach. Pieter and Velosh are extremely accommodating- with us and with our dogs. They made sure we felt right at home! Pieter’s communication was fantastic and very responsive.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay, beautiful house and garden in a very secluded area. Awesome views and a quick walk to the beach, which is very private. Loved the wrap around veranda with plenty of outdoor furniture to lounge around on. Will definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – A Stay We’ll Never Forget! This was hands down one of the most incredible places we’ve ever stayed! From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. The views? Absolutely to die for. Waking up to the most breathtaking sunrises and dolphin sightings—it honestly felt like a slice of paradise. The home itself was immaculate and beautifully designed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our host. She went above and beyond every single day—bringing us fresh coffee each morning (yes, really!), aand treating us with such genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It felt less like staying at an Airbnb and more like being welcomed into someone's lovingly cared-for haven. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one? It’s something special. It’s the kind of place you start planning your return to before you've even left. Can’t recommend it highly enough—we'll absolutely be back 💃

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

This was a stunning home that not just matched the pictures but was even more breathtaking in reality. The home was modern, clean and well maintained. Our hosts were very accommodating to our needs and were easy to get ahold of, definitely super hosts !

We have just completed a 3 week stay with 4 adults sharing Loren's place. In our opinion it is the perfect place to stay if visiting Ballito. The apartment itself is large, very clean and extremely well equipped. The complex is very well maintained, in particular the pool and garden areas. It is also situated in an ideal spot with direct access to the boardwalk and beach, and is a within a short walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking is secure and undercover. We can't add much more to all the other positive reviews which are spot on. For any golfers, we would highly recommend Umhlali Country Club golf course which is a 10 minute drive away.  Thanks especially to our hosts Loren, Deon and Viv who are on hand and very quick to respond should you need anything.

We had an incredible stay at #1 Crayfish. Leo and Kerry are the nicest hosts and are always available to answer any questions or to help with the check-in / check-out process. The unit was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We loved our morning coffee on the beach as the unit has direct beach access. And we also loved the shortbread! Thank you, Kerry and Leo - we will be back!

Staying at Coral Point Apartments was an absolute delight! The place is modern, impeccably clean, and perfectly located for both relaxation and exploration. Noluthando is an exceptional host—warm, attentive, and thoughtful. She made sure everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. Truly felt like a home away from home!

We had the whole venue to ourselves which was an added bonus. Very chilled and relaxed environment... so close to the main beach yet private enough to get away from crowds. Loved the treehouse for sundowners... almost 180 degree view.

It's a wonderful place! The apartment is very spacious, bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything is very clean and brand new. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The territory is close and you feel safe in the apartment. The beach is very close, literally 5 minutes on foot. But the veranda won our hearts, the whole family spent most of our time there playing games and talking! The ocean view is mesmerizing. Many thanks to the hosts! Candice was in touch all the time, helped with all the questions very quickly. Special thanks for the opportunity for flexible check-in and check-out! Amazing views of the ocean from the balcony with the most beautiful sunrise. The place is located in a peaceful area. Parking available at no extra cost. Security at the gate is very helpful and friendly. Gordon & Joy are perfect hosts with great expensive taste. Absolutely loved the artwork!
