My friend and I recently stayed at your cottage near Nottingham Road, and we wanted to express how perfect it was for our needs. We were looking for a quiet place to catch up and spend time outdoors, without being too far from the hub of restaurants/shops and bars. The cottage had everything we needed, including super comfortable beds, a cosy fireplace, and breathtaking views. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend this tranquil stay! We had a beautiful and relaxing time in a tranquil and peaceful setting. Di and her staff provided a homely welcome and we enjoyed a pre-loaded indoor fire, as well as an outdoor fire pit. The setting provided great exploring and easy walking, the chickens and bunnies also added to our son's excitement and entertainment; the toys and books were also great. Although hot water was initially faulty, Di and her team responded effectively to remedy the problem. The home baked muffins in the morning and rusks in the kitchen were delicious, and the French-press coffee an added treat. Definitely a venue well worth re-visiting.

If you want tranquility and peace, this is the place to be. The location is very private and the rondawel was cozy and very charming. The fenced garden was beautiful and my dogs loved their freedom. The shower pressure was excellent and the bed was fantastic. Angela's communication was brilliant and she left us divine biscuits with our tea and a special keyring as a gift. I can highly recommend the rondawel!

Very quaint and cosy place to stay. Peaceful location with great views. Stairs to loft was quite precarious and would HIGHLY recommend a railing of some sort be placed as getting up and down was not ideal or easy due to sheer steap incline. Even our 8 yr old had difficulty going up and down. Bags ended up staying on the ground floor as getting them up was not possible without assistance

Such a beautiful location and close to all Nottingham Road attractions. Peaceful quiet estate. Wonderful private garden. Will definitely be back!

The place just felt at home. Host gave clear directions and pictures of the entrance so it was so easy to find. Spacious, inside and outside. Loved the labelled cupboards in the kitchen which made it sooo easy to find things.

Lauriane has a beautiful little cottage it's clean and has everything you need. our kids loved the animals and really had such a wonderful stay.

Great weekend stay over. Beautiful ,peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated on a herbal farm. Very clean & neat. Well equipped, fresh clean linen and towels. Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. Our stay was fantastic, we were looking for a peaceful, relaxing little holiday and thats exactly what we got. Gorgeous cottage, beautiful views. Jane was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again. We don't have kids however we did say it would be perfect for children, nice lawn to run around on, river to walk to, horses to look at. It was lovely.

The cottage itself was charming, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee on the porch, or stargazing at night without any light pollution—every moment felt special. If you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and soak in some peace and quiet, this is the place. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming about my next visit. Highly recommended!

My kids and I enjoyed our stay. The office area was useful as well. The kitchen was well equipped and had cooking oil and essential herbs and spices which are easily forgotten when going to a self catering property but it was there which was a bonus for me.

The Thatched Cottage at Beverley Country Cottages exceeded our expectations. The view was even better than the pictures, and the cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Kate and Ruth and team were friendly hosts, and very responsive in addressing any issues with the house. We liked the peace and quiet of the farm, but appreciated that it was close enough to Howick and the rest of the Midlands. Our kids also had great fun with Kate's dogs, who adopted us while we were there. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and fresh on arrival. We appreciated the daily cleaning and Sylvia was extremely helpful. The position of the property was private but also gave easy access to the pool and tennis courts. We really enjoyed the amazing views. We also enjoyed the location as we could walk and enjoy the surrounding area. We will definitely return to this gem!

The location was good, the house was jolly good, Essy was mega helpful, the facilities were fine, the grounds were delightful, the cottage next to the house was a pleasure, the gates worked well, and it was a decent place to stay. I thought it was useful value for the money. Before you arrive though you need to find a contact WhatsUp number because Roger was in Canada and the intercom at the gate didn't function. But that was a small thing. I'd be happy to go back again.

Elsie was a great host and communicated thoroughly throughout the stay and leading up to it. The house is stunning and well fitted. It was comfortable and spacious. After the rain a 4x4 is necesarry to get to the house on the farm roads. Overall the stay was well worth it, beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend.
