Holiday rentals with a fire pit in KwaZulu-Natal

The home seemed like its interior was designed for a magazine, the ground/ garden was breathtaking! Gillian and Trevor were both really kind and super hosts

We had a such a wonderful stay at the Boplaas cottage. The home is spacious and located in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Quite serene and private. It’s also quite homely and is equipped with everything you’d typically use in your own home. We didn’t have to ask for anything. Andrea is also such a superb host, great communicator and super friendly. I’d definitely book the spot again.

Jan’s has a beautiful home in an amazing estate filled with loads of things to do. Jan was very helpful and generous.

Such a lovely spot! It exceeded our expectations. We stayed 2 nights with our little Staffie - such a big yard for him to run around in. Loved that it was fenced off so we could just relax knowing he wasn’t wondering off. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone

A Stay to Remember – Truly Magical! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredible holiday home last week, renting out the main house along with the two charming cottages. From the moment we made our initial enquiry on Airbnb, we were blown away by the professionalism and high level of service. With so much online fraud these days, we were understandably nervous about booking and paying online, but their clear and secure registration and payment protocols immediately put us at ease. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our wonderful hostess, Louise. From the first interaction, she made us feel completely comfortable — she was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Affectionately known as “The Old Dame,” is nothing short of magical. You can feel all the love and personality in every detail. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. Loved my stay at the location. Beautiful cottage with a stunning view, fire pit and braai. Grant was responsive and a great host.

We only stayed one night at Lucia’s place but it was perfect and I can recommend a longer stay too. The place had everything we needed, was clean and very convenient. Harrismith can get cold but the unit had everything you need to stay warm. The perfect winter’s bed! The place is also walking distance from the local Spar.

This is a gem in Southbroom. The house is in a lush garden with a stunning view of the ocean. It is peaceful and you don't know there are houses around you due to the lush forest. The house is comfortable and has both a gas and coal braai and full kitchen amenities. We were spoiled with breakfast biscuits and fresh water. Our children had an amazing easter egg hunt in the massive garden. Stephanie is a great host and easy to communicate with. We will return!

I wanted peace of mind and free from social media and the town life and I got just that and more. Great place I have no words.. the caretaker was so much helpful, even faced my fear of water with his help and used the boat. Thank you so much

Stunning home, immaculately clean. There is no TV, but great WiFi, so bring a laptop! The home has all the essentials, and a lot of little surprise extras that came in handy! Very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful property.

My friends and I had an awesome time at this place. It’s such a cool spot with great views. We had a good time sitting around the fire, using the donkey boiler, walking around the area, and going into nearby Underberg.
