Lake house holiday rentals in Knoxville

Great place to stay. Perfect size for three people, and includes a pull out sofa which was more comfortable than expected. There is also a heated/air-conditioned 4-seasons room off the front bedroom that could accommodate an inflatable mattress if need be. Direct access to the Lake in the Sky is wonderful and so peaceful. If it has been raining or rain is expected, make sure to bring your mud boots, as the path to the dock can get pretty swampy. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful school administrator retreat on beautiful Cherokee Lake. Great location for family, colleagues, or friends with multiple inside and outside areas.

Jes's place is very much like the pictures inside and at the dock, spotless and phenomenal kicken, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living area, perfect for a large group. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash, well stocked kitchen, linens, comfy beds (we found the bed particularly comfy!). The dock is lovely, just know it is down a VERY long set of stairs. The property is on a hill by the water and the driveway is also quite steep. Plenty of room to park. One grill is by the house, the other is down closer to the dock, both charcoal. Recommend for a large group!

Rene's home in Tellico Village was one of the best rental experiences I've had over 20 years of renting . There's a reason for all of the high ratings Rene and his home receives. He was very proactive to all of my questions prior to the trip and responded within minutes. The description of the home and the photos were accurate. The furniture and the beds are comfortable and there are multiple TV's for multiple family members to enjoy. The bathrooms were spotless as was the rest of the house. The home is centrally located within Tellico Village and is minutes from Toqua and Tanasi golf courses, the Blue Heron Restaurant at the yacht club, the Marathon gas station and the Food LIon for groceries. Lenoir City is only 15 minutes away. Rene provides all of the little things as well: a computer screen in the kitchen that rotates through helpful reminders, things to do and restaurants to visit. The Keurig with K-Cups was a welcome treat for morning coffee. I highly recommend Rene's home.

Beautiful, clean home in a great scenic spot, right on the river. Plenty of parking, kitchen supplies, and household items. Fire pit and swing set were a wonderful surprise. Short drive to grocery and other stores.

This house is great for friends and family. The deck is wonderful looking at the river. We were in Knoxville for a UT graduation and the location was perfect. Joe was also very helpful when I needed to add a day to the trip. He made it very easy. I would definitely recommend this house.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and had tvs in every room. There was plenty to do in the house and was very comfortable. The only issue was the lake was gone lol but that obviously can’t be controlled. It was the most fun we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely rent from Julie again!!!

This house was amazing! The views were breathtaking! We all loved everything about this house. It had everything you could possible want and more. There was nothing we needed besides having a good time. The kids loved it and so did the adults. We all want to go back! I would highly recommended!

This home was perfect for our family of 10 and just a short walk to the lake. The host went above and beyond with information and answering all questions in preparation for our visit. This location was very private. Really didn’t see other people. Everything was clean and looked just as the pictures showed. Very happy with our choice to stay here. Definitely recommend!

Nice place not far from UTK I stayed for my son’s graduation it was exactly what we needed. I was a bit skeptical at first but the house is really really nice and the hosts are very friendly helpful. Please book this location if you’re ever in the Knoxville area

I am a senior and came with my daughter and a few of her friends for a festival in Knoxville. Villa Melissa, our house, was perfect for our group. The house was spacious, clean and was supplied with anything you could need, plus. Melissa's kitchen was better supplied than mine is at home. Her home is in a nice quiet area, right across from a golf course, a short distance from downtown Knoxville. Our favorite area was the large screened in porch where we spent most of our time, day or night. It was especially nice when it rained. There is a large sofa and table with chairs, perfect for hanging out. It's quiet, and she has a number of bird feeders, so between the birds and squirrels, you get a nice relaxing outdoor place the whole family can enjoy. Melissa made the whole process super easy and was very welcoming. She checked up on us, and made the check out process very simple. We would love to rebook for next year.

They were really flexible with check in’s and checking out. Only thing I mentioned is wasps were in the kayaks and they wanted to take care of them right away. The host was very helpful and accommodating.

Second time staying here, and like the first time everything was great! Paul and Teresa are very responsive and helpful and kind. We love the house and the community, very nice people. The community house and pool was also very nice once again. Overall we were very pleased and look forward to coming again. Thank you Paul and Teresa for sharing you home with us!

If I could give a 10 star 🌟, I would! Loved the design, the view, the peaceful atmosphere! Everything was provided, even entertainment for our 3 year old grandbaby girl with a basket of toys! We celebrated Thanksgiving, family of 10 accommodated perfectly creating a memorable experience for all! Enjoyed our backyard smores fun by the firepit as well! Displays the thoughtfulness and caring spirit of the hosts! We appreciate you!

A million dollar view, blessedly quiet nights, comfortable accommodations, and a kitchen with all of the equipment needed for an extended stay. The home is located in the "Top of the World" residential area below Maryville and looks out over the north-eastern edge of the SMNP. We enjoyed the low-key, non-touristy atmosphere of the surrounding area. This rental unit has a covered patio with an expansive 180-degree view and is situated beneath the owner's residence on the two floors above. Parking is nearby and up a short slope from the door. John is a very responsive host and provided helpful instructions preceding and during the visit, as well as a binder with detailed information about nearby hiking trails, scenic drives, restaurants and resources. No need to plan ahead! If you are a touring enthusiast, Highway 129's Tail of the Dragon is nearby with 11 miles of "hairpin" turns, definitely a highlight. Eagle's Nest is highly recommended!

A Hidden Gem on Douglas Lake! Our stay at this stunning lake house was nothing short of magical! The views of Douglas Lake are absolutely breathtaking but somehow, as impossible as it sounds, the house itself surpassed even the beauty of the scenery. From the moment we stepped inside, we were in awe of the sheer beauty of the home and how thoughtfully designed everything was. From the pool table to the elegant details of the decor, we were awestruck our whole stay! Our favorite part? Sipping coffee on the porch watching a misty lakeside sunrise, playing pool with the family, fishing, and just soaking in the serenity. The hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above & beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we felt at home. It’s clear they truly care about creating a 5-star experience and it shows in every corner of the home. We are already planning our next trip back. If you are considering booking, DO IT! You won’t regret a single moment.

The location of the house was convenient, the land it was on was great, and this kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The setting was stunning, with a gorgeous view of the lake, visits from friendly groundhogs, and the ability to bring our dogs, who had the best time. We loved kayaking on the peaceful water, relaxing on the spacious back deck, and cozying up by the fire pit in the evenings. The interior was newly updated with classy, tasteful decor and had every amenity we could have possibly needed — and more. When we asked about binoculars to better enjoy the view, the hosts thoughtfully provided a pair for us. Their responsiveness and attention to detail made everything so easy and welcoming. This home is beautifully decorated in what I would describe as sophisticated forest with a bit of whimsy. You can tell that the owners put their heart into it and enjoy staying there as well. We were impressed with all of the details and the very well equipped kitchen where everything is labeled. It was very well maintained and clean. The pond is a peaceful place to walk and enjoy spotting ducks, fish and turtles.

We stayed for my son’s UT graduation and it was perfect! SoKno is out of the fray but still convenient to get to and from campus. It’s the second time we stayed in the area and we love being near the river and walking to a few restaurants. The house is so cute and we enjoyed sitting on the porch. This lovely home allowed us to have quality time with family amid the graduation chaos. Thank you for hosting and being flexible with us a couple times during our process!
