Gorgeous country apartment w/ hot tub & log burner

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

A charming, well appointed Edwardian Gate Lodge

JeffreyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars! Excellent home in a really peaceful beautiful location. It was easy to find and no issues entering the property. Stunning old house which clearly has a lot of history. The home was well presented and we found it comfortable. All the instructions were clear. The hot tub was excellent and the kids loved it. So peaceful at night. Only a 10 min drive into Alyth where there is a couple of shops, but many many lovely walks about ideal for dogs. The wifi was a bit hit and miss we struggled watching tv as it kept freezing with no signal. However given the rural location this is excepted and didn’t bother us too much. AGA cooker was great a real experience and I’m sure in the winter it’s beautiful and warm. Overall we would recommend the property, my only room for improvement would be looking into the WiFi and potentially adding a better dining table and chairs outside. It would have been lovely to dine outside on some more comfort chairs and better seating. Still 5 stars!

Secluded hillside cottage, ideal romantic hideaway

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We spent a long weekend here with our three dogs - it’s a wonderful, peaceful, location with plenty nearby walks and only a 10min drive to Crieff where there are local shops and Scotland’s oldest distillery, Glenturret. We had glorious weather (21 sunshine) and made use of the BBQ, outdoor gardens, and hot tub in the evenings. The inside furnishings are full of colour and patterns, and stocked with plenty DVDs and board games to keep you entertained. One thing to note for those who may be looking to book with dogs - the garden is not fully secure as there is no main gate, and the property does boarder fields with livestock, and a few farm buildings which were being used during our stay. If your dog is reactive then this may not be the best location. Our dogs loved being out in the garden, exploring the area, and going on lead walks in the nearby areas (lots of walks are detailed in the host’s book). We’ll definitely be returning!

Luxurious, Private Cottage 2 Bedrooms with Hot Tub

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here a few days in May. The Cottage is very remote, but you can reach the next village in arround 10 minutes by car. It offers great views of the surrounding area. the hot tub was amazing. Also the fireplace. we came to do some hikes and in the end decided to stay a whole day in the cottage, because it was so great.

Stylish Country Cottage with Exclusive Hot Tub!

SummerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great find. Katrina is one of the most responsive and informative hosts I have had on Airbnb. Being from out of the country we had several questions and she answered so quickly. There were some hiking trails near by which was a nice surprise, and Katrina recommended Gloagburn which was a hidden gem! Would recommend this to anyone looking to be off the beaten path but still have plenty to do!

Such a beautiful little get away with so many little hidden gems nearby! Was quiet 24/7 and we loved the peace and the amount of sun the garden and hot tub got. Such a cosy cottage and made us feel at home straight away, worth the drive! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Gorgeous Rosemarkie Cottage

AlanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

Capo Farmhouse - dog friendly. Hot tub & fire pit

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed a lovely stay at the house. Beautiful and serene surroundings. Was a great place to relax and unwind… Great day trips nearby. Would recommend you bring in all your provisions at the start of your stay and kitchen is fully equipped. Caroline was easy to contact and fast to respond. We chose to use the hot tub which was ready for us when we arrived and easy to operate. Our only wish was that had we known, it really should be drained & refilled after two days of use since there are no added chemicals (which is a plus) Overall a wonderful experience & would highly recommend

Picturesque Old Smiddy Cottage

TaniaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞

Beautiful royal-village cottage with wood-burner

LesleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I spent 5 nights at Annie’s place in lovely Falkland. It was the perfect place to rest and recharge after a strenuous hiking trip. The cottage and neighbourhood are charming and peaceful and there are many lovely walks nearby. The view from the top of East Lomond Hill is spectacular! Annie also has a wonderful library that could have kept me happy for several weeks. There is a convenience store and a nice little fruit and veg store in Falkland but as other reviewers have mentioned, if you plan on cooking it would be wise to shop ahead of your arrival. I would be very happy to return to this delightful haven.

Fraser Cottage

JasonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Nick and Patsy were the most excellent and professional hosts. Extremely polite, welcoming, friendly, attentive, and respectful of privacy. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very knowledgeable of the area. Fraser cottage was exceptionally clean, warm, and with a top quality finish and attention to detail, it provided everything required for a peaceful, tranquil stay in beautiful surroundings with the Cairngorms on your doorstep to explore. Mattress, pillows and quilt were super, super comfy, aiding an very good night's sleep. A 5 star plus experience and highly recommended.

Unique off grid cosy farm Bothy in the Highlands.

Jessica LeeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I loved this place! It was everything that I wanted. No wifi or power, but I had cell service, better than at other locations during my trip, so I felt connected. The nature surrounding the cottage was so gorgeous and peaceful. The wood-burning fireplace, the bathtub, all of it was perfect. Yes power for a fridge/freezer and the like would make it that much better. But the space and setup and cute battery-powered taper candles along with the fire just created a wonderful environment. I would have loved to stay longer. My last day I didn't leave the property bc I wanted to just be in it all. I walked around the property, read by the fire and enjoyed the place. I would go back in a heartbeat! If you can stay here, absolutely book it. It will refresh your soul and bring you peace. I cannot wait to go back and live it all over again!

Couples/Solo travelers Beachside cottage on Loch Rannoch

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We left this morning and want to go back. The only noise we heard was the call of birds and the gentle lapping of the water on the beach. The Bothy is toasty warm and we didn't need the log burner. Everything you need is supplied. It is also very convenient for many attractions and lots of walks. We booked to see wildlife and go on scenic walks. It didn't disappoint. We've seen Golden Eagles, Osprey, Hen Harriers, a Merlin, Newts, tadpoles, too many little birds to mention, and whilst on the Jacobite Steam Train we saw the White Tailed Eagle. Thank you to Melanie and Peter. Lovely hosts, welcoming but gave us privacy.

Arrivain Cottage

JulesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Arrivain cottage - definitely the most luxurious and tasteful AirB&B that we’ve stayed in. Everything about it was exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully done. We loved how spacious and well equipped it was. The location is ideal for exploring lots of amazing places. Jacqui was a great host and we much appreciated the delicious treats provided. We both slept so well here - total peace and quiet and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The wood burning stove was a real treat too.
